If you’re envisioning a magical night with your loved one, you’re in for a delightful surprise! This charming cottage is all about romance! The Wildflower cabin is located at Cowboys and Angels Retreat on a 50 acre high fenced private wildlife ranch in the heart of the Texas Hill Country just 20 minutes from Kerrville. Designed for cherished moments, stepping inside reveals a whimsical retreat! This romantic little cabin is surrounded by nature and beautiful nature paths. It’s an ideal spot for lovers embarking on memorable journeys! Imagine heart-shaped chairs, a luxurious queen-sized bed with a warm quilt and soft pillows. With its vintage charm and rustic elegance, it makes for the perfect romantic escape for two! Dark skies, Bortle 3, allowing effortless stargazing of the Milky Way. Enjoy spectacular sunsets while relaxing and watching free roaming wildlife on the property.

The assortment of deer, axis, fallow, and antelope was so cool! We fed some out of our hands! The cabin was adorable and the grounds were very nicely kept! Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The ranch the cabin is on is gated, safe and very quiet. Several species of deer live on the property and it was very exciting to watch them be fed by the hosts. There is no light pollution here, so it's amazing to see all of the stars in the sky. The hot tub was great especially while sitting under a starlit sky. We had a great, relaxing time and will definitely be back in the future! I would totally recommend this place for small or large gatherings. They have several cabins and even a 1940s restored chapel for weddings.

Back in 2017, James Wright was running an award-winning construction company in Austin, Texas. James had always envisioned creating a sanctuary where nature and comfort intertwined seamlessly. A true country boy at heart, he started dreaming about a gentler life away from the city’s hustle and bustle. While cruising through the beautiful Hill Country, he stumbled upon a charming piece of land for sale and instantly fell in love with its rustic allure, picturing all the wonderful possibilities. Using his construction know-how and a wealth of creativity, he turned the property into the breathtaking Cowboys and Angels Retreat. James carefully crafted an additional nine unique cabins, each bursting with its own rustic flair. He also set up several full hookup sites for RVs. This addition would ensure that visitors could experience both comfort and a taste of the great outdoors. His main goal was to help guests unwind from their hectic lives, so he added amenities like a refreshing pool, inviting hot tub, cozy covered pavilion, scenic nature paths, a fun saloon, a lively party barn, and even a little performance stage. The stunning 1940s restored chapel quickly became a sought-after venue for couples looking to tie the knot in a picturesque setting.
Whether you’re seeking solitude or celebration, it provides an idyllic backdrop for unforgettable moments.
James is always full of ideas for enhancements – crushed granite pathways, lovely limestone details, charming Purple Martin birdhouses, and more! He has been thrilled to watch his dream slowly unfold and is always eager to explore new ways to make it even better!
