This is an illegitimate listing. The owner is not supposed to be subsisting, according to the front desk//building manager who followed us around the whole time threatening to call the police on us for trespassing.

Check in got off to a bad start. We weren't provided check-in instructions for the garage before arriving so we had to wait in the car while receiving those from the host. Luckily it didnt take long to communicate with them. We also had to download an app to get access into the garage and amenities which is okay but again, Would be nice to have ahead of time since we were arriving off of a 6 hour flight. Building amenities are nice. The gym, hot tub, and pool is great to have as is the garage parking. We had another snafu with the garage, however, when we came down one morning to find a tow warning (we apparently weren't registered with the building despite assurance from the host) on the car. Nothing came out of it, thankfully, but we were definitely apprehensive about parking there. There were no coffee pods or other conveniences you would expect from a top-quality host. For the price, we expected a premium service and it fell short. In addition, we were told by the host that they are not affiliated with the apartment building and not to "check in" or ask the front desk for anything which was strange and made us question the legitimacy of the whole operation (especially when combined with the garage tow warning).

Superb location. Very walkable to all the best of Santa Monica (beach, pier, promenade/shopping, and dinning). Unit is set up very well for families or two couples. Property amenities are very nice and easy to use — especially hot tub, gym, and on-site parking. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend.
