Great hotel with gorgeous views. Stayed two nights no house keeping and they text too much, but overall worth every penny.

Posting was a little misleading but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views from our room, room was nice, a little too warm, no a/c, but the resort restaurant was good, pool table was nice for a relaxing evening.

The description did not match the room. The original did not have kitchen, which did not match what was listed on VRBO. The room they initially assigned appeared much smaller and needing some renovations. We were moved to a room that felt closer to what we were expecting from the listing. So, it turned out great, but there were some challenges getting to that solution.

Overall, the stay was poor, would not recommend, it wasn't the worst place but it certainly wasn't what I expected. Hopefully this review will adjust your expectations.Pros:- Nice View- Nice looking resort- Parking was easy and convenient- We felt safe- Bathroom was nice- The single sink just outside of the bathroom was greatCons:- Hard to navigate road at night coming to resort- Check in was odd, waited in two different lines- No AC... Not mentioned in the listing- No kitchen... Listing mentions a kitchen- Bed is too plush paired w/ way too firm pillows.(Both of us had back pain in the morning)- I slept so poorly that my 8 hours of sleep felt like 3, I was exhausted all day and made my trip much less enjoyable.- Bathroom feels like a sauna, even when running the vent.- Coffee pot was full of old coffee, communicated w/ host and nothing came of it.AC:- When I made the host aware that the listing doesn't mention no AC, they told me it was listed on the resort website like it was my fault for not looking it up.- They provided a swamp cooler for the room that had to be run most of the time to make the room comfortable. This felt like an added job I wasn't expecting to do.- Running it at night kept the temp nice but it is very loud and made my eyes and sinuses very dry.- The single window only opens 4 inches and doesn't allow much cold air through unless your right next to the window. Natural air flow would have been much nicer.

Pretty frustrating stay.Check-in was fine but you are immediately hit with a sales pitch. We told them we weren't interested and they respected that initially. However, before even leaving the lobby we got a text asking how our villa was. This was a bad omen. The room was nice, the constant texts about the stay were not. One would have been fine but over the day and a half we got 6. Woke up the next morning and went to the lobby in search of some coffee. None to be found. The lady at the front desk looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if I could buy coffee somewhere and just rudely said "No". I asked if there was a cafe or anything and she ever so helpefully told me I could drive the 25 minute roundtrip to town and buy some or wait until 10am when the gift shop opened. I guess technically it isn't a hotel but a coffee pot in the lobby doesn't seem like a foreign concept. Theres lemon cucmber water and popcorn when you check in but no coffee in the morning. My wife is not a coffee snob but the coffee pot in the room was filthy and the brew it yourself coffee just wasn't good. The place is nice for the most part, but some basics were missing. After we left we got 3 more texts pushing for the time share or whatever they were pushing.
