Good Harbor Bay is the finest shoreline in Leelanau County and some believe all of Northwest Michigan. This private residence is on 122 plus feet of private Lake Michigan frontage. With a massive sandy beach without a rocky shoreline. the views of the Manitou Islands, Fox Islands, and Pyramid Point are stunning. Breathtaking is the word to suit this private setting in the dunes. If friends and family are seeking a truly special get away in a place you will never want to leave this is it. There is space to spread out inside and out. there are (2) living space with a kitchen on the main floor and a fully equipped kitchenette on the lower level walk out family room. The residence will accommodate up to 20-21 overnight guests. Yet guests with fewer visitors will be delighted as well as the space provides separate living area upstairs with a comfortable family - game room space on the lower level. upstairs/3rd floor there is a large bedroom overlooking Lake Michigan, a non conforming bunk room (no window) and a loft area for games/sleeping/play. There are a total of 7-bedrooms and 6-full bathrooms with many bedrooms and living spaces offering beautiful views overlooking Lake Michigan. With (2) living spaces, a lower level efficiency kitchen, and upstairs sleeping/play loft area there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own privacy. The house offers a pleasant atmosphere where guests can relax and unwind. Whether you’re cooling off with the AC or staying cozy with the heating, comfort is always within reach. This peaceful retreat invites you to gather, laugh, and create lasting memories. Experience this magical setting and world class private beach by settling in, taking Long Beach walks north or south along the spectacular Lake Michigan shorelines. This a single family home - private residence set on 1.20-acre parcel with private neighbors along the shoreline. Quiet and peaceful with friendly welcoming Good Harbor Bay community up and down the beach. Built in 2016, this 4,244 sq ft home features a main floor primary bedroom, an eat-in kitchen open to the dining room and main living area with access to an expansive deck. The finished lower level includes an additional living area and full kitchen. The two-car garage is available to store gear such as bikes, boards, water toys. there is plenty of parking for visitors and guests with space across M22 for boat or other parking.. Outdoor spaces include the spacious deck with lounge area around fire feature (propane) and dining table. Plus, a lower level patio and sandy beachfront with fire pit and room to recreate. Ideal for visitors who want to spend the day or evenings at the shore enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan. The location is ideal as the residence is located 6 miles south of Leland and approximately 10 miles north of Glen Arbor. the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore starts 1.3 miles to the south at Good Harbor road. Ideal for bike riding out the door. Bike the Heritage Trail that starts in the national park and goes all the way to Empire. Or bike the country roads of Leelanau right out the door. the TART trail starts in Suttons Bay and goes all the way to Traverse City. The beloved Good Harbor Winery is 2 miles north of the property with a lovely tasting room and dining. there are 42 wineries in the county for guests to enjoy. There are (2) golf courses less than 3 miles south of the property at Sugar Loaf. Golf at Bahle Farms/the Leelanau Club or the Homestead. Tennis or Pickleball in Leland or Suttons Bay at public courses at Hancock Field or Herman Park. Leland Country Club is a private golf and tennis club yet offers access to both in clinics offered to non members. North Lake Leelanau is easily accessed in town Leland at several public beaches such as Nedows Bay beach and boat launch. Leland Yacht Club offers sailing lessons to children over 8 and adults. Lake Leelanau Rowing Club is 8 miles away and offers rowing clinics and events. Leelanau Counties is well known for wonderful food. Several restaurants are within easy driving distance for guests to enjoy. Many are family friendly. Cherry and raspberry picking is a fun experience for all guests. And hiking the Leelanau Conservancy trails nearby at Whaleback or Clay Cliffs are fun outings for all fitness levels. Sugar Loaf Mountain approximately 3 miles south of the residence will soon begin transformation of the several thousand acres into a recreational center over the next 24 months. Including trails for hiking, viewing house, mountain biking, bird watching and more to come. There are (2) public golf courses at Sugar Loaf. the Leelanau Club near Suttons Bay, Arcadia Bluffs are (2) of the regions coveted courses for golf enthusiasts. Shopping boutiques and unique shops or galleries in Leland, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Northport, Omena is a great way to spend the day discovering the county. Leland's Old Art Building offers cultural events such as art classes, music events, summer concerts, speakers. Leelanau Historical Museum in Leland is a great way to learn about the area and the history. Suttons Bay offers many different shopping and dining experiences. The Bay Theatre in Suttons Bay is an original movie house. for a flashback in time to experience what an old fashion movie night was like head to the Bay!. Or you may prefer to stay right at the property and experience the delights of being at the beach, hearing the waves, swimming all day long, peacefully read a book on the deck or by the fire. This is where guests will experience a slice of heaven on earth. when the sun sets in the summertime there is nothing like the colors of sky and the fresh water to stun the senses. The property is available on a limited basis for exclusive stays during should seasons of early Spring and Fall season. September and October weekends are a lovely time to enjoy a long weekend at the beach and take advantage of fall colors and quiet dining, wine tasting, biking, hiking.
