Our home is special for its location providing easy summer access to water on the Deschutes River and easy winter access to snowy adventures on Mt Bachelor.
Summer months are booked early by guests who love our peaceful water views and access to their private dock, kayaks & bicycles.
Our winter months welcome guests looking to experience snowy pines and easy access to Mt Bachelor`s powdery slopes and surrounding trails.
Summer or winter guests celebrate our pristine hot tub, morning to evening.

With easy access to Mt. Bachelor, come and experience some of the best snowboarding or skiing in the West.
As the snow melts, visit one of the beautiful Cascade Lakes or just paddle away from your own private DOCK. Six kayaks, adult life jackets, and paddles are provided. The Big Deschutes River is renowned for kayaking, rafting, and fishing.
Settle in and make yourself cozy, nestled within the Deschutes National Forest. Relax under the pines in a beautiful 7-person Caldera HOT TUB.

Nightly rates include access to Wi-Fi, Netflix and other Smart TV apps, private Caldera hot tub, premium in-house laundry facilities.
Additional amenities include 3 comfortable queen beds, 1 queen air mattress, 2 full baths, a fully stocked kitchen, open floor-plan, 5 seat breakfast counter, 6 seat dining table, dishwasher, circular drive, private boat dock (seasonal: May through September), community boat launch nearby (12 month), and Weber barbecue.

Specific notes:
Enjoy a short walk to the neighborhood boat launch on Snow Goose Place. From the home`s driveway, turn right and continue to the stop sign at Snow Goose Rd. Turn left on Snow Goose Rd and continue to the second left at Snow Goose Place. The boat launch/park area is on your right. This area provides a take out from the Big Deschutes River for short floats from the house. Personal flotation tubes (not provided) are easiest to carry for 10 minute walk back to the house.
This community dock and park area also provides a good take out for WINTER floats from the South Century Drive bridge parking area on right (opposite the campground). This launch site is three miles from the house (1 mi. to S Century Dr, turn right for 2 mi to the bridge over the Big Deschutes river). Winter floats should be made with some additional caution! During winter season the managed flow out of Wickiup Reservoir is significantly reduced, lowering water level. October through April, our very short canal access to the river in view is frozen or dry. In May our water access returns for the warm season.
Our shorter 6 fishing style kayaks are very stable, light, and easy to transport when tied securely. thank you!!
