Very nice, efficient and clean house. Well stocked. Quiet neighborhood, but close enough to zip into Austin. Beautiful backyard with refreshing pool in it for those triple digits. Loved my stay!

Our stay at the Austin oasis was perfect. Location was great. You’re a block or two away from loop one which gets you around the city very easily. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The house was very modern, clean & comfy.The sleep number bed was a huge plus for my sister who has several back & shoulder issues. Kitchen is very well equipped. We love the ice machine on the refrigerator. The temps that week were over 100 so having some cold ice all the time was a big plus.The backyard was as described, beautiful oasis the pool was very clean. It was saltwater, which is a big plus there’s a shade cloth over the pool so on those hot days, we could still enjoy the cool of the pool and not the burn of the sun plenty of chairs, comfortable places to sit. if I’m ever in the area again, I will be definitely wanting to stay here a true gem

The location couldn’t have been better! It was easy to access Mopac, and there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and other essentials nearby. We especially loved being able to walk to the Lady Bird Wildflower Center.The house was very clean when we arrived. The backyard and pool could use some updating and a little more attention. Unfortunately, the outdoor trash bins had not been emptied before our arrival, which wasn’t a great first impression- quite gross actually.Other than those small, fixable issues, we had an okay stay. Personal rating 7/10.

I would have given this VRBO 5-Stars if it wasn't for the backyard. Two biggest eyesores was an old privacy fence on the right side of the shed maybe 6' x 6' falling down but propped up later, it's has rusted screws and I almost stepped on one walking around the pool. An old broom and an old mop was lying in the pile of leaves at the broken fence.. There was an old automatic pool skimmer thst looked broken and should be moved to the shed. To the left of the shed was a large broken umbrella the top was ripped and the bottom rusting, a very old white wicker chaise and in the corner of it was a big trunk snd leaves from a large palm that I guess had rotted but not taken off the property, This was the view from the house along with a few old pots with weeds vs what you see on the VRBO page. Also there were also loose shards of granite on the right patio, granite will break over time especially if ithin this could be an easy fix. Side door of house were trash cans are kept had rotting wood at the bottom both sides, its obvious its been like that for a long time and an easy access for unwanted insects..Advised the host of easy fixes and cosmetic improvements along with putting in a pool rail to safely hold onto getting in and out of the pool especially needed for my age. I was provided new pool skimmer to manually do some light housekeeping on the pool.A reset on this back yard pots and it can be a true oasis ..
