Sprielderbosch 46 Luxury holiday home on a holiday park in the Veluwe

Will you come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Veluwe at the luxurious holiday home "De Zonnehoed", located in the small-scale holiday park Buitenplaats Sprielderbosch? Many of our guests are couples, sometimes with a dog, who want to combine the tranquility of the park with hiking or cycling through the vast forests. But even with young children, the house and its surroundings offer a wonderfully relaxing experience.

Your stay in this beautiful single-storey, thatched holiday home is a true experience. The Sprielderbosch property “De Zonnehoed” is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The entire house has underfloor heating (max. 21.5°C), and one of the terraces is covered and equipped with an electric heater. On the other terrace, you can sit in the shade of tall oak trees or enjoy the sun.

The kitchen has been completely renovated and features a spacious refrigerator, Quooker, induction hob with oven/microwave combination, dishwasher, and deep drawers for easy access. A hammock also invites you to relax. In the master bedroom, you will find a wonderfully sprung AVEK boxspring bed.

The name “Zonnehoed” refers to the beautiful thatched roof that extends over both the house and the covered terrace. It also refers to the yellow (rudbeckia) and purple (echinacea) flowers that bloom in the garden.

This is the only four-person, single-level house located on the northern edge of the park, offering unobstructed views of the adjacent grasslands and surrounding forests. It also sits on one of the largest plots (760 m²).

The Veluwe is one of the most beautiful nature areas in the Netherlands. If you search for “most beautiful forests”, you’ll often be directed to the Speulder- and Sprielderbos, where this park is located and from which it takes its name. From the park, you can walk straight into the woods, known for their crooked beech trees (the ‘dancing’ trees) and the great diversity of wildlife. And if you get tired of walking, you can relax indoors with beautiful photo books about the Veluwe, watch the DVD “Wild – Colorful Families in the Veluwe”, or play a board game.

Your pet is very welcome; the garden is enclosed (60 cm high) so your pet can’t easily wander off.

The private parking space (for two cars) at the house includes an 11 kW charging station for electric cars, allowing you to charge your vehicle at the house using your own charging card.
