Greenleaf Inn Room 7, Boothbay Harbor: king with its own entrance and a covered harbor balcony

Room 7 is a 300 square foot king room on the second floor of the original 1840s house, reached by its own outdoor entrance. Guests come back for its old-fashioned character and quiet.

Outside the door is a covered balcony with a table and chairs under an awning, facing the harbor. Inside are a king bed, a coffee and tea setup, a spacious closet and a private bath with a full tub and shower.

Greenleaf Inn is a small, historic Boothbay Harbor inn at 65 Commercial St, above the harbor in the middle of downtown. Guests share a full kitchen and living room, the rooftop Sky Deck, a fire pit and the gardens. Parking is free on site.

This ranks among the top places we have ever stayed at. We were in the Greenleaf building with a view of the bay in a covered balcony. Everything in the building appears new and well thought out.The common kitchen area is spacious and well stocked with snacks, drinks, and pastries. It's always open.The location is a quick easy walk to all the main activity of Boothbay. We have been to Boothbay a few times, so we really appreciated the comfortable and relaxing nature of the facility. So much so that we probably spent more time on our balcony than anything else during our stay.The caretaker, Jersey is always on the move maintaining the property. He satisfies any questions or needs quickly. Likewise, the cleaning staff visibly keeping things clean throughout the day.
