You'll be just moments away from Lake Menomin for boating, fishing, and beautiful sunsets. For cyclists and runners, we are close to the Lake Menomin Loop—a fully paved 8.3-mile route that circles the lake. It seamlessly connects to the famous Red Cedar State Trail, a scenic 14.5-mile crushed limestone path that is also perfect for winter cross-country skiing. Looking for more adventure? The majestic Devil’s Punchbowl and Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area are just a quick drive away.

Thanks for a wonderful weekend! The room with 4 twin beds worked perfectly for our group. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Comfortable seating to relax by the TV. Perfect for a Halloween weekend visit to our Stout student.

Cute and close to town

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a beautiful weekend so we were able to walk to restaurants and shops. It is closer to campus than we thought but the weekend was fairly quiet.

The property was exactly as represented online. We like the ability to walk to coffee shops, the local co op, and a grocery store. Great little downtown area.Only suggestion I have if having a few more cooking utensils. We'll definitely return.

Long weekend in Menomonie

Home away from Home

Great for flexible and flowing family

We were here for a family wedding with various family members coming and going — some for an afternoon visit, some for overnight. Our 89-year-old matriarch even stayed for one night. It accommodated everyone’s needs nicely and was in a great location for easy access to restaurants, the movie theater and the wedding held in a nearby small town.

A perfect day for anything you need to do at UW Stout.

The house worked very well for a graduation weekend. We could have family time in a living room, and have crock pots going in the kitchen for people to eat at any time. The two bathrooms were fantastic to have with a group of people staying. The bathrooms were very nice. are very nice.

Visiting son at UW Stout

This place is very charming, nice décor and in a good location. It was a great place to for us to visit with my UW Stout student son and his girlfriend. We were able to make a big breakfast in the fully supplied kitchen! The communication with the property manager was quick and she was very accommodating. We definitely will be staying here again!

The stay was good, lots better than being in a cramped hotel room and appreciated being able to make meals together with the kids.Was pretty quiet, appreciated the coffee also! Didn’t see any spare garbage bags so we bought some more but maybe it was an oversight, not really a big deal.

Visit with my student at UW-Stout

We stayed here several times over the past 5 years while my son attended UW-Stout. Always enjoyed this home and appreciated the convenient location to campus. He is graduating next month, so not sure when we will back. Thank you for the great memories!
