We hosted a family gathering and everyone was satisfied. The beach was just downstairs and two minute walk. The furnishings were comfortable with plenty of towels and supplies on hand. The neighborhood was quiet and coffee on the deck was just how we wanted to start the day. Would definitely rent this property again.

You really can't beat being just a block from the beach. There is a small bridge over the dunes just across the street, meaning you can be in the water in about 2 minutes.The property was clean and well stocked. There were some toys under the stairs, plenty of dishes, extra sheets, etc. We knew we were booking one of the least expensive properties the weekend we were there, so our expectations were in line with it not being as luxurious as some of the other homes in nearby communities, but we were very happy with how nice it was for the price.All the information we needed to check in and out came through timely texts from the host's system.The beds were a little bit thin and springy for our taste, but that is a personal preference.

Overall a good property. Super close to beach, location is great. Second row and steps from a dune walk-over. Our first 24 hours we did not have a working fridge or dishwasher, which put a damper on the trip. We got refunded 300 for the issues, which was nice. We may have just been the first booking of the season so working out the kinks. Management company had workers out within 24 hours to fix issues. This property is managed by a management company; just something to know. A/C worked great, plenty of room and parking. If you need a spot and this has the best price/room, would be a great booking. If you find a similar price and listing, probably take the other listing. I would not re-book unless I got a great deal; just have stayed at better properties near Galveston. Just mind the pictures of the listing, they are accurate. A bit dated interior but does the job at the beach! Pet friendly which is also great.
