Ce penthouse de coin spacieux unique, # 310 à Makani Sands, est le plus grand condo dans le bâtiment! 3 chambres, 3 1/2 salle de bain au 3ème et 4ème étage a une vue incroyable sur l'océan et les îles voisines de Molokai & Lanai, avec un accès rapide à notre plage et grande piscine d'eau douce. Décorée dans un style moderne, cette belle maison de ville est équipée d'une télévision haute définition dans le salon et d'une télévision dans chaque chambre à l'étage. Il y a une cuisine complète avec tous les appareils nécessaires. Une grande salle à manger avec une table à manger. Il y a une 1/2 salle de bain dans le couloir en bas. Passez quelques nuits à la maison à préparer du poisson frais sur notre barbecue en bord de mer et dînez sur la grande table en verre. Deux grands lanais latéraux de l'océan parfait pour les couchers de soleil fabuleux et l'observation des baleines. À l'étage en bord de mer grande suite chambre des maîtres a un lit king, et salle de bain principale a une baignoire jacuzzi pour votre détente et un double lavabo et dressing. Chambre d'hôtes sur le flanc de la montagne, dispose d'un lit king et douche à l'italienne. Il y a une chambre en bas avec des lits jumeaux et une salle de bain privée. A wonderful vacation.

Gorgeous ocean views

The ocean view was amazing! We enjoyed quite a few whale and sea turtle sightings from our balconies. The upkeep of the property is great.

Great Space and Beautiful View

We are a family of 6 with adult children. This rental worked great for us because it was very spacious and we enjoyed spending a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the ocean view. It was also fun to swim in the ocean at the resort during low tide. We saw lots of turtles. The finishes at the property were not very updated, but the spaciousness and cleanliness made up for it. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great as a family vaction base!

What a great week at Makani Sands! We had plenty of space for our extended family of 7 adults and a toddler. It was nice to have easy access to the ocean for snorkeling and a breathtaking view from the lanais for so much whale watching. The condo was exactly as pictured and the property staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful 11/10 would stay again with a large group!

Spacious Condo with Incredible View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is two floors and very spacious. The beds and sofas were comfortable and rooms were clean. The dressers and nightstands could use replacements, as some drawers were difficult to open and showing their age. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms for our stay and all items were in good working order. Two of the bathrooms looked upgraded and beautiful. We ate on the balconies and listened to the waves each morning. The views from the balconies were gorgeous! We saw rainbows over the water many days, snorkeled below with turtles and tropical fish, and saw spinner dolphins. Snorkeling at low tide is best. There was equipment for both beach and snorkeling in an outdoor storage box on the lower balcony. The management team was incredibly nice, helpful, and gave us advice for the best beaches, restaurants, etc. I highly suggest Kaanapali Black Rock Beach to swim with sea turtles and tropical fish! This was a wonderful condo and amazing location! We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome place

After reading the last review I was expecting something horrible but was pleasantly surprised. The only negative thing was that there was beach restoration project going on which was making noises sometimes especially in the morning. Really enjoyed the view from the balconies, were able to see turtles and whales.

This unit had enough space for 7 people to be comfortable. The ocean views from both balconies were stunning and we enjoyed whale watching from the comfort of the balconies. The pool was very enjoyable and warm! Would highly recommend and we are hoping to stay here again in the future.

An awesome vacation and we all loved our #310 condo!

Reviewer Comments: The office assistants were very helpful and informative any time we had questions or needed assistance and we talked a lot with Mari, who was fantastic. Our condo was spacious with a beautiful view looking over the beach and beautiful scenic view. We had lots of amenities in the condo and a huge kitchen/dining area that we made good use of. It was great to have full bathrooms off of each bedroom and the shades on the patio windows/doors were very beneficial since it was sunny and hot outside. We enjoyed having a condo away from all the busy streets and tourists and yet it was close enough to get to places easily. It was a great choice!

Great vacation spot for an extended family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a party of six, four adults and two kids age 3 and 5. This unit met our needs very well. We would stay here again. The unit is right on the water with terrific views of the water and Molokai. The sounds of the surf were a treat. Some of us spent many hours lounging on the upper lanai. The unit is nicely furnished with everything one would need. Some of the fixtures and appliances are a little older and comfortably worn while still being nicely maintained. The onsite staff were friendly and helpful. The private beach was a little small and the surf a little rough four our young kids, but there is a terrific beach for kids about a 10 minute walk to the south. We also enjoyed the "Badass Coffee" shop across from this beach park as others mentioned. The location was otherwise terrific.

Breathtaking Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent, spacious and well appointed unit with panoramic views of the ocean. We enjoyed the lanais and the wonderful breezes. We saw so many whales from this point. You can see Molokai and Lanai from the balconies. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Great patio below with grilling stations. Only disappointment was that there is no longer a beach as pictured. The beach has been washed away and is covered with large mossy rocks. There is a really big drop from steps of the Patio to rocks below indicating erosion is pretty advanced. They really should remove the beach photos from the advertisement. Makani Sands is really close to everything. You can easily walk to restaurants, grocery store and an ABC store. I would recommend this unit. We had a wonderful stay here.

Xmas in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Went to Maui to celebrate Christmas and stayed at the Makani Sands Condo. Great location (close to Lahaina) and the condo itself is right on the water. In fact so close you can feel the waves. The condo is big and plenty of room for all 6 of us (2 adults and 4 teenagers) where everyone had space. The owners are great people and Tammy is great to work with and communicate with on any issues (as we actually lost power with a storm) and the owners were quick to come over and get us lanterns we could use before it all went dark. Sitting on the patio listening to the waves, you can see the whales swimming by. Just a great view. The only concern is that the stairs down to the water is not a place to swim in winter. No beach. But a short walk down the block you have access to a public beach to swim that the kids enjoyed. Great place and would recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful Time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay in Maui. The condo had plenty of space and we didn't feel at all crowded. It had everything we needed down to a grinder for our coffee beans. It was within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shop, restaurants and other beaches. Our ocean view was spectacular. The bathrooms in the condo could use some updating but were fine to use. One negative was the cushions on the patio furniture were thin and a few of the slates were broken. Also, as the beach is not available in winter and we wished that the Condo Board had extended the steps to the water or provided another way of accessing the ocean as the swimming in front of the condo was wonderful. Tammy, the manager, was very helpful and was great with responding to any of our concerns. We really appreciated her help. All in all, we definitely recommend this condo and would love to return.
