Our host was perfectly fine, provided a lot of information and responded appropriately to messages. Communication was good. The ground of the resort are well kept and conveniently located. This unit we rented could use a little bit of TLC. I was surprised by the prior ratings for cleanliness because it was not quite up to my standards. A dehumidifier would likely go along way for the musty smell! It was very strong, especially when first arriving back each day. We did love the location of the resort, the view was terrific, and we apprecited the beach chairs and cooler provided for our use. More places to hang clothing would be ideal, hooks and such- a little TLC would make the closet not so grim looking! An entryway rug inside the door and maybe around the bed would likely be appreciated, as the floors feel very sandy. I felt the need the wear shoes inside the entire time. I was ok with the bed, however my husband had a very time sleeping in it. Perhaps an update there. Also, please fix/add a handle to open the sliding door. Fingers in the sharp metal holes doesn't feel too great. Overall, we had a good stay, but I would not pick this one again unless updates were made, and it had a proper cleaning, along with the smell remediation.
