Cozy Cabin 1 BR Snowshoe

Grande une chambre à l'étage et journal pierre condo au pied de la montagne en raquettes situé à proximité du parcours de golf Raven. Nous rénové notre maison il y a 2 ans Il a un lit king size dans la chambre et une taille complÚte Murphy lit confortable qui tire vers le bas dans le salon. Les planchers sont en bois stratifié et il y a une télévision à écran plat et une cheminée électrique est dans le salon. Un service de blanchisserie et un beau bain à remous se trouvent sur place à seulement quelques pas. Il y a aussi des grilles disponibles dans une petite aire de pique-nique. Le stationnement est juste devant la porte. Une cuisine complÚte, bien approvisionné avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour produire des repas à la maison est fourni et il y a une petite épicerie se trouve à seulement 2 minutes en voiture.

Gorgeous condo. The listing stated a pool, which we were looking forward to. It only had a hot tub, which we marinated in, thank you. The condo was very comfortable and welcoming. Very convenient to Cass railroad, Snowshoe resort and amenities, various trailheads and a trout fishery. When we stayed, there was a mountain bike competition up on Snowshoe, which was fun to watch. The kids got a chance to horseback ride at the stable, which made great memories. Would we stay again? Absolutely.

The owner of the property was great. Vrbo didn’t send check in info. But I got in touch with owner and she was quick to help. A nice cozy place for sure.

Perfect again

When not staying on top of the mountain, we prefer Overlook. OL 2 has exactly what we need. Always clean and Janet is great and cery accomodating.

Sweet mountain cabin

Wonderful cabin for Snowshoe

We had a lovely time in this cabin. Janet was the most communicative host I've had on any rental thus far, and ensured we had everything. The kitchen is great for preparing hot meals, the bedroom is very cozy and comfy and even has a small desk station for some laptop work. Love that the cabin is in a quiet and lovely area with friendly neighbors as well.

Cozy and Clean

This condo was perfect. High ceilings give a larger feel. Nice king size bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Quick drive up the mountain to snow shoe village. Owner Janet was very responsive and helpful. Had a wonderful stay!

MIsleading

I was very disappointed when my boyfriend and I arrived at the cabin. On vrbo, it was listed as a cozy cabin and the pictures showed the cabin and a hot tub that looked like it was right outside of the cabin. When we arrived, we found out that is was several units and not a single cabin. And it was not a private hot tub. The (4 person) hot tub was shared with over 30 other cabins. The pictures were misleading. The owner was pleasant and the cabin was clean, but I would never have booked the place if I had known that it was not private as the pictures made it seem.

Great Location

We had a great time at the cozy cabin at Snowshoe. The location is perfect for the short drive to the resort and close proximity to the shops in town. The apartment was very clean and included everything we needed for a worry free stay. We’re already looking forward to going back in the near future!

Third Time Staying

This was our third time staying at Janet’s cabin. It’s always an easy process and Janet is always helpful and communicative. We stayed for four nights this time and unfortunately due to bad weather and expensive lift ticket prices we only snowboarded one time. But we still had fun staying at the cabin and exploring the local hikes nearby. Our dog scout had a great time.

One of the best hosts you will ever find...

Janet was one of the best hosts I have found on any platform. She was super responsive and wonderful to deal with, she has a heart of gold. The property was very cute and well kept. The King bed was VERY comfortable as was the murphy bed (according to my daughter). Great location, a few minute drive to Snowshoe and to the stores the other direction.

Family weekend at Snowshoe

Our first visit to this property and snowshoe. We loved the coziness, cleanliness, and overall vibe of this property. The hot tub was so nice to relax in after a day of skiing! This property is also a short drive to snowshoe which was also very nice. Janet the property owner is very kind and met all of our needs. I highly recommend this property! We will be back!

Wonderful mountain getaway!

We had an amazing time staying at Janet’s place for a ski vacation at Snowshoe. We chose this place because of the location (a 10 min drive to the slopes) and because it was pet friendly and we were able to bring our pup with us. Couldn’t have asked for a better set up, and would definitely stay again!

My 3 children and I all love to ski but we enjoy Snowshoe in the summer just as much . We love to bike the Greenbriar River trail and a day trip to Cass railroad. We have enjoyed working together as a family to make Overlook our home away from home & we are now looking forward to sharing our home with you.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We bought at Snowshoe because we love to ski and we loved the quiet country setting of Overlook. Overlook suited our need for a quiet pet friendly location and we loved all the trees surrounding the complex. We had rented on top of the mountain many times and we're tired of the noise and crowds & we preferred Overlook because of it's homey log cabin feel . We also loved the large uncrowded hot tub . We liked the vaulted log ceilings and the skylights as well as the large windows & deck!from which to enjoy the view.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Close to golf course , restaurants and grocery store. It is a quieter and larger condo than most found at the mountaintop but it is just a short drive from the top of the mountain . A 9 mile scenic drive alone highway 66 will take you to Cass railroad which is a wonderful day out for the kids. Cass is also a great place to get on the Greenbrier River Trail. We have seen all kinds of wildlife down by the river. River rafting and fly fishing are other great summer activities & Shavers lake is open for swimming, paddle boating and canoeing. Although Overlook is a condo complex, with its' log structure , it feels more like a little mountain cabin. We love to sit on the deck during the warm weather after a meal cooked on the outdoor grill.
