This historic cabin is perfect for your escape to Alaska. Tucked into the trees next to Bear Creek, 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River itâs perfectly situated to start your next adventure or simply get away. Inside, guests find 2 queen beds, cozy living room with wood and gas stoves and a large smart projector television (hidden when not used to keep that authentic feel). The cabins original features are in full display, milled floors and axe fitted logs are pared with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Itâs part retreat, part museum with all the comforts of home. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything the Copper Valley and our cabin has to offer.
This cabin is approximately 10 minutes north of Glennallen which is the Hub of the greater Copper Valley. Nearby attractions include the Gulkana, Gakona, and Klutina River, Historic Gakona Lodge, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and flight services from Gulkana airport. Guest may also enjoy dog mushing tours from Trailâs End Kennel (ask for availability). The hosts have called the Copper Valley home for over 20 years and will be happy to help you get the most out of your time here!
