You're in Newport's scenic Yachting Village—12 Goodwin Street puts you right by the harbor with stunning water views and easy access to everything! Steps from Newport Harbor marinas, sailing action, and waterfront paths; short walk to Thames Street's buzzing restaurants, bars, live music, shops, and Bowen's Wharf. Safe, relaxed neighborhood with coastal charm—festivals, yachting vibes, historic feels all around. Beaches and mansions are a quick drive, but the walkable harbor-town energy is addictive—no car needed for daily adventures!


Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy!

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.

Comes with two on-site parking space.

Spacious Inside & Out

Quite the large place with 2 couch sitting areas and kitchen bar seating as well. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Great walk in shower and comfy bed. The deck - wonderful view of part of the harbor and the neighborhood is pretty too! Location is excellent and parking a plus!

Remembering Newport

A quant, comfortable, peaceful escape right in the middle of all to see and do in Newport, RI. Loved the decor and layout, fully functional for those that want to make meals and home of just relax on the porch. We were fortunate to meet one of the owners and they provided great places to experience and to dine at.

Had the best stay last week at this space! My now husband and I were in RI for our wedding and this space had everything we needed and perfect location to make this trip truly memorable, can’t wait to come back! Clean, spacious, amazing water view, walkable to all shops and restaurants!

Harborview Studio Stay

My wife and I loved our time at the studio apartment. Nice layout with a porch to lounge on with a glass of wine. Bathroom and shower were clean and the shower in particular was spacious. Comfortable queen bed with nice linens. Kitchen area was well appointed and could have definitely handled simple cooking with ease. Very well located near Thames Street and walkable everywhere. Parking spot is a big plus too. Value was ok as there was a pretty hefty cleaning fee but overall 5 star stay.

Getaway Perfection

Perfect getaway for two! Quiet, peaceful, and impeccably clean. We loved the solitude while still being close enough to walk into town. Far enough from the crowds to enjoy complete tranquility. We can’t wait to come back and book this place again!
