The Space:

The still waters of Old Hickory Lake reflect soft winter light as you step outside, the chill of early March brushing the air and the quiet lapping of the lake setting a calm, meditative tone. Through bare trees, you can glimpse the glimmer of water from the single-level cabin, where warmth from indoor central heating contrasts with the crisp outdoor breeze. Evenings invite you to gather around the fire pit under a clear Tennessee sky, listening to the distant rustle of wildlife in the natural surroundings.



Sleeping Arrangements

The cabin comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom includes a full bed with a twin trundle underneath, and the living room offers a queen pullout couch. Bedding, extra pillows, and blankets are provided for a cozy stay.



Outdoor Living

Directly on Old Hickory Lake, the property offers private lake access and a serene, secluded setting. Step onto your private patio or balcony, or relax in the backyard, though note it is not fully fenced. The fire pit, hammock, and outdoor furniture create spaces to enjoy crisp mornings or quiet evenings.



Kitchen & Dining

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, hot water kettle, and barbecue utensils. Cooking basics are available, and a dining table accommodates seating for three. There is no dishwasher.



Interior Features & Entertainment

Inside, the open-concept living area includes central air conditioning, ceiling fans, heating, and a TV. A record player, books, and board games provide quiet entertainment. Room-darkening shades, an iron, and clothing storage ensure practical comfort for longer stays.

Wifi make remote work or extended stays manageable. Luggage dropoff is available for early arrivals or late departures.



Bathroom & Essentials

The cabin has one full bathroom and a half bath. Bathroom essentials, including towels, bed linens, and soap, are provided, along with a hair dryer and other standard amenities.



Family-Friendly Features

Children’s books, toys, and dinnerware are available, along with board games for family activities indoors.



Parking & Access

Guests have access to free driveway parking with four spaces. The home has a private entrance and is single-level with no stairs.



Safety & Convenience

The property includes a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit. Self check-in is provided via lockbox.



No groups or parties are allowed, and the cabin is strictly non-smoking. Pets are not mentioned, so assume the property is not pet-friendly unless explicitly confirmed.

Other Things to Note:

Can’t stay as a group. Maximum 6 people on the property at any given time all related by marriage or birth. This is a family house & atmosphere not for groups due to my close neighbors who have been disturbed by guests who have abused by the rules. I’ve had to amend my guest requirements because there have been several abuses of the property.
