The Grand Lodge South, Collins Lake Resort's luxury extension, is where you will find the perfect combination of comfort, space, and convenience. This beautifully appointed 1876 square foot single floor condo is located in downtown Government Camp, a quarter-mile from Collins Lake Resort. This property - ideally positioned in the middle of three Mt. Hood ski resorts will welcome you home from a day spent skiing or hiking to an inviting living area, with a gas fireplace and a large modern kitchen. The master bedroom has its own gas fireplace and direct access to the condo's private balcony. Each room is equipped with Posturepedic mattresses. You'll even have access to the Grand Lodges' own heated outdoor swimming pool, large hot tub, and sauna! With views of Mt. Hood, Collins Lake, and the slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl, the Grand Lodge South is a premier vacation rental.





This beautiful home sits within walking distance of Government Camp's great shops, restaurants, and brewpubs. If you're looking for skiing and snowboarding, Mt. Hood Skibowl (one mile), Timberline Lodge (six miles), and Mt. Hood Meadows (13 miles) are all within easy driving distance. There is a shuttle from the condo driveway on weekends and holidays. Come summertime, you'll have plenty to do, including wonderful hiking and mountain biking at local trails and lakes within a 20-minute drive. This rental is only minutes from nearby Mt. Hood Adventure Park featuring ski and snowboard on 65 runs in winter and enjoy a variety of warm-weather activities in the summer including an Alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, mountain biking, and mini-golf.

The condo was beautiful, spacious, and a great location! It was very clean also! We were a little short on supplies, I would recommend bringing extra laundry detergent to wash towels often, as there weren't many on site. Also, bring your own can opener ;). Thinking maybe a previous guest took it by mistake! But at leas they had a wine opener!

Over all the place is nice, but could use a few things:1. place sleeps 8 but there is only 5 coffee mugs available2 could use a set of silverware. Only 6 eating forks in the drawer not enough for one meal, had to wash a fork every time one was used. 3. The couches need to be replaced, the springs are worn out and you end up sitting in a hole.4.Three of the dining room chairs have broken/loose legs, which we found out the hard way.5. this may seem petty, but for 4 nights we only had 1 trash bag and a small roll of paper towels. We try to keep vacation homes neat and tidy but with lack of supplies it made it challenging. 6. It would be very helpful if the home at a binder on helpful hints on how to use appliances, what not to do, what light switches do what (found several had know idea what they did) etc. - ex: how to use the gas fireplace.

This unit had it all and made our trip easy and comfortable! Close to town, the brewery, several trailheads and of course the pool! We had a great time and felt right at home!

Handy spot to stay for skiers

This unit is a clean, sparse, handy base camp for skiers wanting to hit Timberline or Mt. Hood Meadows. Great proximity to both resorts, as well as restaurants and groceries in Government Camp. We’d definitely return.

Nice spot, concenient

Was great being in Govt Camp and near everything. There are two buildings at this location and this unit is in the second one. There’s no signage (at least not when there’s 10’ of snow), so make sure you go to the second building at the end of the road or you’ll never get in :)

Nice condo

The condo was clean, pretty, and easy to check into. Great location if you are going skiing. Only criticism was the lighting is very poor. Seeing anything in here at night was tough. Highly recommend white light bulbs and more lamps.

Nice but kinda "sterile"

Nice newer, large space but I would describe it as "corporate". No games, no tissues, just enough dishes for one meal. Had to use the dishwasher after every meal. Some TV reception issues and internet spotty at times. Plus, there are several condos in this complex available for rent and the same pictures are used for all of them? The darkness in the condo has been described in previous reviews. Did love the heated garage.

Great weekend away on the mountain!

Had a great stay - place was clean, cozy and had the amenities our group was looking for. Pool was open - added bonus! Only items to improve on: WiFi was spotty and the queen bed isn’t flat, so my husband and I kept rolling in towards one another. Otherwise, had a wonderful trip and would definitely come back! Thanks for having us!

This property was very clean and great location. We were not clear upon booking that it was no longer part of Collins Resort. There was no literature in the unit as to how to use any of the on-site amenities, which are limited.

Great Location - Minor Annoyances

The location is ideal!! We chose this property over others because it was listed as having a well stocked kitchen which I didn’t find it to be and the lighting made me bonkers but it was a clean property and in good shape. Would prefer bigger TV’s as we like to watch movies from bed. Comfortable furnishings.
