Brought a party of 10 to enjoy a Christmastime mountain retreat. This house was so spacious! The bunk room was great for the kids, and the private hot tub was enjoyed by all. Would bring the extended family back in the future.

We LOVED the property however we couldn't get into the garage for over 1/2 our stay to get to the bicycles and the Dryer wouldn't work and the freezer wouldn't make ice well.... But the home itself is stunning and large.

Relaxing Escape in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay and the spacious amenities. We used the nice, well-maintained hot tub, a nice kitchen with air fryer mode, a mini bar, a big TV, an updated deck, and the paved trails for walking through the neighborhoods.

Wonderful place and cabin

Wonderful place and cabin for a family escape. There are endless activities on and around the ranch. Plus, we were able to unplug from electronics successfully.

Quiet, well appointed with plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay during a bitterly cold streak. Snuggled around the fire we watched the snow fall, went for hikes and cooked up a feast in the kitchen.

Lots of space, next to National Forest

Lots of room for our family with 5 bedrooms, a big comfortable living room and very well supplied kitchen. The house was comfortable, we loved the bunk room and the fireplace and the views.

Awesome home. Tons of space for everyone. All bedrooms are spacious with big comfy beds. Bunk room for the kids was perfect.

Loved our stay here

The hot tub provided a great relaxing point at the end of the hot days we had at the ranch. Appliances felt luxurious, and the electric car hookup worked well. Traffic is minimal in this part of the ranch, so bike riding and other outdoor activities were relaxing.

Great Family Stay at Black Butte!

This house was well-equipped, kid-friendly, and and was well laid out for my parents, my spouse and our kids, and niece/nephew visiting from out of state. We all had plenty of space. The fireplace was wonderful, and the kitchen had everything (and more!) for prepping and serving everyone.

Great for Families

Every couple had their own space and we had plenty of space as a group. The children loved the bunk room and game space! It does take awhile to get to the main entrance but we used the restaurants, the pool, the stables, the golf course, the bikes, the basketball & the tennis courts! There was something for everyone. Wonderful Family Time!

Great family vacation home !

Lazy acres had plenty of room for our 5 grand children and 6 adults. Plenty of interior room and a large deck to fit everyone. Hot tub was very clean. Extra refrigerator in bunk room was a big plus for extra groceries. Location of the home is amazing. All of the bikes were serviced and ready to go . We had a great t8me. We look forward to returning!
