The Space:

This unique hexagonal residence lies in a forested area along the shores of a lagoon. Spot wildlife while relaxing with a cup of coffee on the two rear screened porches overlooking the lagoon. The beach and the Atlantic Ocean are just a 0.4-mile walk away from a day of swimming, surfing, or fishing.



Explore the beauty of the area via bike or enjoy a horseback-riding adventure on one of the many local trails. Venture about three miles down the road to Harbour Town and browse through the stores. Play a few rounds of golf on one of the local courses or spend time at the newly remodeled complex pool, which is conveniently available day or night and features poolside furnishings, changing rooms, and bathrooms.



Enjoy your favorite meal prepared in the well-appointed kitchen (which comes with starter supplies). After a long day exploring the island, relax and watch the latest movie on the cable equipped 45-inch HD flatscreen TV and DVD player. Each bedroom also features TVs, DVDs, and private bathrooms.

Night Heron Stay

Great little place to grab and just a short walk to the ocean on a private path. Location is easily accessible and can get anywhere in HHI very quickly. Would stay here again!

Perfect Location

We enjoyed staying in this house. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and is just a 10 minute walk to the beach. The house has all the comforts of home!

Beautiful area and bungalow! The two porches were so peaceful and the walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all, and a very pretty walk. The beds were so comfortable! It’s close to so many amenities. Great communication with Vacasa. Lovely place! We will be back!

Close to beach and quiet,

Nice property close to the beach within walking distance. Two bedroom - two full bath night heron good for two couples. Don’t bring more than two cars limited parking. Beware of Gators in nearby ponds when walking to the beach.

There is a two-car parking in Night Heron, if there are more than two cars guests are always allowed to leave a car at the office parking lot. We enjoyed our stay at Night Heron. It was quite the cozy little bungalow. The only problem we had was the pool code wasn't given to us.

Cute little bungalow by the sea

We stayed with our three teens for spring break. It was a cute little property in HH. The kids rented bikes at the Salty Dog and were able to bike everywhere. The house is tiny but a clean and convenient place to rest your heads if you are an active family and looking for a simple place to stay while exploring the island. Easy check in process and secluded. Would recommend to minimalist families looking for a fair priced and clean getaway in Hilton head.

Night Heron 35

Very clean. Layout feels roomy even with the limited square feet. 2 bath works great for us as I get up early to go on bike rides and let my wife sleep in. Very close to the fish preserve too, which I fish a couple of times each trip. Haven't caught many bass, but enough to make it enjoyable. Some decent gravel roads scattered throughout the park for biking too.

Loved this bungalow!! Definitely would love to stay again!!

When we pulled up to this little bungalow, I fell in love!! It’s not as big as we are used to, but it was doable for our family of 5 (3 teens). The condo was immaculately clean, and I’m very particular. It’s decorated nicely and comfortable. The mattresses were too soft which is a matter of personal preference. Watching a baby alligator right behind the porch in the lagoon was a lot of fun! We loved the location!! The Beachwalk is right across the street and about 1/4 mile walk. The beach is not as crowded and very nice!! The bike trails are wonderful! Also, we were located pretty close to Coligny which we liked! The only poor rating I gave was for communication with Vacasa. I had emailed them 2 times a week before our trip and didn’t hear back from them until my trip was almost over. Even with that mishap, we would definitely enjoy staying here again!!! Great bungalow & great location!

Great location

One block from the beach. The location is perfect. We rented bikes and it was nice to be able to hike to the end of Sea Pines and be close enough to bike to the grocery store and other restaurants.

Realizing this is a rental property many little maintenance issues. Furniture in living room could use an update. Beds great. Enclosed porches a perk.

My New Sanctuary

We lost our first 3 days to Ian so when we finally arrived on the island we were a bit stressed and some air delays saw us arriving later than expected. All of that started to melt away when we saw our lovely little haven! So cute and round and much more spacious than one would imagine. It's nestled among trees and there is a lagoon behind it. It has an outdoor shower which we didn't use. A major plus was the 2 screened porches. It was so meditative to sit and breathe and hear the sounds of the wildlife. The air was so crisp and clean. When the sun is out the sky blazes blue and there's nothing prettier. Here we were set back and nestled in between two similar villas. It's so quiet and peaceful. There are two perfect spots to park in out front. There are lights along the front on the ground and one on the porch that helped navigate at night since it's really dark. The villa was well equipped and has really comfortable beds, loads and loads of storage and a really well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It really had everything we needed. I was so impressed when our property manager Shanon called me at home in NY before we left. We were concerned about any negative impact Ian may have had on the island and our property in particular. He got in touch to let me know he would be out to inspect and would report back. We exchanged phone calls and texts and he was available at all times for any questions and concerns. I hope I wasn't too much of a pest! He couldn't have been more gracious or professional. I felt like we had our own personal concierge. I had never stayed in Night Heron before but it was a perfect location for us and I will definitely book here again. I miss it so much already!

Perfect spot in sea pines. great value

Two large private screened in porches, cold A/C, kitchen stocked with everything, everything is very clean andupdated. 3 tvs, dvds, board games, High ceilings in every part of house. Outdoor shower, nice private path straight to the beach between neighborhoods. Good value for being in sea pines. Only complaint was that we had to call management to get the code to the pool. Pool is excellent. We will definitely book again next year

Great place to stay

My family and I loved this vacation home. Great location in a safe spot. The two screened porches were awesome to hang out in after a long day. We had some ants that came in through a window and the management company immediately bought us some ant spray. Very quick to help which I liked. I was a little disappointed to see the granite counters in the kitchen in such bad shape. There was a large space where the counter tops separated which was very unprofessional. Overall, very comfortable beds,, clean, snd extremely nice place to stay. Ps- if you have small children please stay away from the small pond behind the home. We saw a small alligator back there and I’m sure where there is one there is more.

Relaxing and great location

The home was exactly as described. Nice layout and nicely furnished. It was clean and had fresh towels/linens. Could upgrade to a Keurig vs. coffee maker (no filters available at the house). Screen porches were perfect for the mornings and evenings. Pool within the neighborhood was well maintained and cleaned regularly. The bungalow is in a great location to access all the spots within Sea Pines. Amazingly close to a beach pathway - 10 min walk/2 min bike ride. Would definitely recommend this property

Perfect spot in many ways

35 Night Heron is a perfect place for a couple.. or a couple with 1 or 2 kids.. or 2 adult couples if you are minimalists. The “cottage” is nicely decorated with many original watercolors, nice comfortable furniture, good dresser space, heat lamps in the bathrooms, plenty of outlets and a somewhat well furnished kitchen. (We would have liked a cutting board and small saucepan) but glassware and utensils were plentiful. Great location! 10 min walk to beach and lots of wonderful bike paths all over Sea Pines. Loved biking the beach which worked fine with out hybrid bikes (no need for fat tires) January is a great time if you don’t mind a bit of a chill and love having the beach to yourself. Sadly, the porches were too cold to use bec they don’t get any sun, but having privacy on that side was very nice. Highly recommend Pinkney Island National Wildlife refuge for a wonderful secluded walk or bikeride. Overall we would definitely return to 35 Night Heron.

35 night heron

Arrived to pick up packet for entry , opened packet at property, no key. Called Vacasa 800 # ,explained issue, manager on duty called back about 10 minutes later, he got us in the rental! No lights on, used our phones, asphalt broken at entry off driveway, a real ankle twister! We entered the unit, brought our luggage inside and a few groceries. Poured a glass of milk for my grandson into a jewel colored green plastic cup between the milk and the green I find lipstick on the rim! Not acceptable! Poured out milk, washed cup, checked every cup, each piece of silverware , and everything else I used in the kitchen. NOT how I wanted to spend my time Coffee filters and trash can liners would be a nice touch 4-5 minute walk to the beach needs to be noted, for simplicity sakes... The house was comfortable, enjoyed the screened in porches I would stay again, however housekeeping needs to improve !!
