Welcome to the Cozy Cabin! Perfect to enjoy quality time away as a couple, friend group or small family. Warm yourselves by the fireplace, do some stargazing, and refresh yourself at this peaceful spot!

NEW! This Fall/Winter enjoy complementary flexible check out at no extra cost. This means if you stay Thursday-Sunday, you can check out anytime Sunday, the whole day is yours to enjoy with the option to extend your stay into Monday morning if you’d like at no extra cost! Take your time!

The space
Our cabin has a modular living/kitchen space with a newly installed fireplace for cozy late nights, and a tv for family movie time magic. Table sits 4 and there is a large fridge for storing all your vacation needs.

Sleeps up to 4 guests between 2 bedrooms and the living room

1 futon located in living room

About The Lake

With crystal clear water and a nice sandy bottom, Big McDonald Lake has amazing fishing and swimming. The lake is less than 50 feet away and our lot has a personal beach, perfect for sunbathing and building sandcastles in. There is also a

• Aluminum dock & Boat Lift (dock is shared with our neighbor, but each have their own lifts).

Enjoy additional first-come, first-served access to a small community recreation area right across the street with:

And a beautiful elevated patio overlooking the fun. There is also a convenient fish cleaning building with two stations. Everything you need for unforgettable days on, and around the water. Note, there is some equipment for the community area, but because it is a shared space sometimes it goes walking. Please bring your own to ensure you have what you need :)

Surrounding Area

This cabin is located on a paved road, 0.1 mile to boat launch and 1 mile of paved road to a beautiful county bike path that runs from Perham to Maplewood State Park.

There are many local restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores in nearby Perham, only 15 minutes away.

Want to bring a bigger group? Just a mere 100 feet away we have a newly renovated house called the "Modern Lakeside Retreat: Ultimate Group Getaway" which you can also rent for greater flexibility and fun.
