The Jeter Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 guests across two beautifully appointed suites, each named in honor of the original builders. The locking French doors at the back of the Leonidas kitchenette that normally separate the two suites can be opened, connecting the home into one seamless, flowing space — perfect for groups who want to stay together while still having room to spread out.
The Anna Bell Suite is soft, elegant, and inviting — a 2-bedroom retreat featuring a king bed, a queen bed, a couch, original hardwood floors, original wood-paneled walls in select rooms, original upper kitchen cabinets, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate family room, a dedicated dining area, and a Roku TV stocked with games and books. Luxury cotton sheets, upscale bath amenities, and a fully equipped coffee bar round out the experience. Rooms have individual mini split AC and heat, and blackout shades, luxury cotton sheets and upscale bath amenities.
The Leonidas Suite is bold, warm, and full of personality — a 1-bedroom plus pull out couch( full size) retreat inspired by Gladewater's rich train history, featuring a king bed, a pull-out sofa bed, original hardwood floors, a living room with Roku TV, a kitchenette, a stunning clawfoot tub alongside a separate stand-up shower, and a private table and chairs accessible directly from the bedroom door onto the side wrap-around porch. Rooms have individual mini split AC and heat, blackout shades, luxury cotton sheets, and upscale bath amenities.
Both suites share access to the grand front porch with rocking chairs, a shared laundry room, and free street parking directly in front of the home. The house sits on Gladewater's original red brick streets, and the wrap-around porch is the perfect place to gather at the end of the day.
**One more piece of living history — the train has rumbled through downtown Gladewater daily for over 150 years, running on no set schedule, just as it always has. It's a beloved reminder of the town's roots, though light sleepers should be aware. We've provided noise-canceling sound machines in every bedroom for a restful night's sleep.
The Jeter Farmhouse offers a backdrop unlike anything else in East Texas. This is more than a rental. It's a piece of living history — all yours for the weekend.
When booking the whole home, both the Anna Bell Suite and the Leonidas Suite are exclusively yours.
