Hikers Paradise! New 3 Bd 2 Ba Home On Zion East Rim border w/Zion National Park

Imagine this perfect day: You enjoy your morning coffee on the deck of this new, quiet, secluded home on the east rim of Zion National Park. Because this is a no pet property, you see deer and wild turkeys strolling by. You then come in an cook a hearty breakfast in the full kitchen. Next, you walk to the Observation Point Trailhead. This trail is no longer accessible from in the Park; it can only be accessed from the East Rim. (If you want to save energy, you can drive over to Zion Ponderosa and take the shuttle to the trailhead). You walk out three miles, mostly flat, to the most amazing view of your life. You literally are looking down on angels landing! When you come back, you head over to Zion Ponderosa to take a dip in the pool or hottub (complimentary to you during your stay). You decide whether to eat at one of their restaurants or have a cookout at the house with the charcoal grill while playing with the axe throwing activity (all plastic, don't worry). You can also do the Cable Mountain hike from the property too... though maybe save that for the next day. You relax inside watching your shows or reading a book. If you got dirty on your adventures, don't worry, the extra large washer and dryer await, along with a warm shower or bath. In the evening, you enjoy your favorite evening beverage on the porch and take in the amazing Dark Sky - so many stars - you find your favorite and name it. You retire inside for a nice relaxing sleep. All without any of the Zion National Park crowds or noise.

General Description: This brand new home is in Little Ponderosa next to Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort property, and the back yard is literally Zion National Park on the East Rim. Little Ponderosa has very famous hikes Observation Point and Cable Mountain just minutes from the home. Parking is super limited at the trailheads so use Zion Ponderosa’s shuttles or walk. But imagine a fairly flat three mile walk out to Observation Point where you look down on Angels Landing! All the photos w/o the terror!

Note that there are no added cleaning fees!!

This new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is set back on a 2 acre wooded lot. On the left side of the house is the Master with private ¾ bath and queen bed. On the right are two more bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and one has a single over full bunk bed. Stocked kitchen with expandable dining room table. Mudroom with full size washer and dryer.

The family room includes a 42 inch television that can access your streaming services.

The house has starlink for internet services with battery backup. Cell phone is apparently great if you have ATT. I don’t have that so I just use the internet.

Please note that there are no fences in this neighborhood between the lots. So be careful to respect the neighbors’ properties. For an adventure, you can cross the wire fence in the back yard and be on Zion National Park land.

Extra Amenities
We have also provided access to Zion Ponderosa Resorts 2 tier pools and hot tubs. Just check in with their front desk (main building) and let them know where you are staying and they will charge our account for you to swim. It will take just about 5 minutes to drive the dirt road to and from the resort. Or you can walk the 2 miles for added exercise.

WEATHER. Utah is a “high desert”. This house is at 6500 feet elevation. If you are not used to high altitude, we recommend that you do not hike strenuously for at least a day… Altitude sickness is no joke. This property is up on the east rim, but if you are going into slot canyons, please check for flash flood advisories first.

MORE TO DO. Zion Ponderosa provides activities great for all ages as well as dining options if desired. Many other guided activities are offered for additional cost, check out their website for more details.
