Nestled within Big Sky Resort just steps away from the Explorer lift at the base of the Chet's Knob ski run, this ski-in/ski-out home is the perfect way to enjoy your next ski vacation with friends and family! Inside, the living room is open and spacious, dressed with comfortable furniture, rustic and stylish wall art, and an elegant atmosphere throughout. Kick back in the armchair to enjoy a novel next to the fireplace or a movie on the flatscreen cable TV. The full kitchen has attractive cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of cookware to help you prepare tonight's home-cooked meal. Serve up to six dinner guests at the handsome wood dining table while the dishwasher takes care of those dirty dishes. This is a ground-floor home, so it's easy to wake up to the aromas of freshly-brewed coffee then take the lift up to ski all the fantastic mountain slopes. After spending the afternoon on the mountain, come home to enjoy a good soak in the resort's shared hot tub. Don't forget to take advantage of all the other resort amenities as well, such as the community fitness center, the shared seasonal pool, and the sauna. Big Sky Resort also offers numerous wedding venues, each one certain to make your ceremony a stunning affair. This home enjoys a king-size bed in the main bedroom, plus a queen-size sofa bed and a queen murphy bed in the living room.

The location was fantastic. In the Shoshone Condo complex which has its own gym, heated outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. Condo was an excellent value, particularly during the week we chose. Kitchen was well stocked with the pans and utensils we needed. It is not fancy, somewhat rustic, heater was loud, but fantastic for this price range.

This property is at the Shoshone condo so the location is already great but the unit itself is on the first floor so that makes it even better! Perfect condo for that Big Sky ski vacation.

Amazing place, perfect ski in/ski out with everything you need. Unfortunately this property is managed by Vacasa and not Expedia/Vrbo or the owner. The Vacasa team was difficult to work with and even argumentative at times.

Easter get away

Kids learned to ski, we came back to condo and cooked our own meals. The Easter bunny came there for the kids and hid eggs. The kids loved the pool. Only negative was they ski vallet tried to charge me 15 a pair of skis overnight, I am talking two pairs of kids skis that are tiny. Lol, I just carried them to our room.

Big Sky Late Summer

Really enjoyed our stay, so much to see, probably missed a bunch but will for sure be back. My wife and I fell in love with the state of Montana, especially big sky community. Prices for things do seem higher in Montana for staple items, but not outrageous. One thing I wish we had seen more wild life, probably have to go to the back country to see more animals.

The condo is fine. It has a vibe of the 80s. The heating/cooling system is a little off. It can be very warm in the bedroom and much cooler in the living/dining area. Location is good, not too far from outdoor activities and town.

Cute little place. I had no problems, conveniently located for skiing. I’m really just curious because I received an email stating that as a guest we were “poor” or “terrible” and I have to know why. Set up, we arrive on a Friday evening, one adult and 2 15M. Skied all day Saturday and left Sunday morning. Non-smoker/drinker/drug using/ pet owner. We ate 2 meals in the condo, showered twice. Broke nothing, we were barely in there. So now I am just wondering what we could have possibly done to earn such a review. First bad review I have gotten from Vacasa in all the years I have been using VRBO. Usually with a lot more people in larger places, so I am super upset at the moment. The condo itself? It’s ok and fits 3 comfortably. Beware of ruining yourself in the eyes of other hosts though.

Was OK. Would not stay here again unless it was completely renovated and more attention focused on detail cleaning. Towels were awful. Coffee pot had slime in it. Ice maker overflowing with old ice. Big Sky is beautiful and we will be back but not to this property

Very functional unit, could use some attention

Convenient location, very functional design, nice appointments. Murphy bed and second full bathroom are key to making additional guests comfortable. However, there is a fairly long list of minor issues that suggests a lack of attention and maintenance. None of these issues are show stoppers and the list has been shared privately with Vacasa.

Dirty and Drafty

POSITIVES: Location is great...convenient on the mountain, and large enough for our family of 5. THE REAL STORY: The condo was disgustingly dirty when we arrived having not been vacuumed or picked up after since prior rental; the balcony door leaked cold air the entire week...we had to use pillows to block the draft and keep from freezing out; we were locked out of the condo for 2 hours when the keypad batteries died. Find someplace else to stay!!

Big sky skiing

This condo is a 1bed room unit with large living space and small kitchen. 3/4 bath in living room areaKitchen has fridge/freezer. Basic assorted pots/pans cutlery, microwave stove top and oven. Living room has a sofa bed, Murphy bed. A coffee table. Dining tableNo washer and drier. Master bedroom has a king bed/closest and bathroom with bathtub. Keypad entry. This is inside the Huntley hotel, easier to drive to front. Drop off stuff and ask the hotel staff where the uncovered parking lot is. It’s a good walk. So drop off luggage. WiFi is good. It’s a bit of a walk with ski gear to the actual lift. But it’s inside the village. There is a hot tub/gym. Tips. Tipping the bell service. Made it similar to actually being part of the hotel. They helped me bring bags to the room. EtcThere is a semi secure storage room for skis open at 8:30 to 4:30pm. Then it’s locked Will save you 50 yards of walking Have fun

Great location, good beds, good basic kitchen, bad climate control

The Shoshone is a very convenient location for skiing. This condo is tight for a family of 5, but even the murphy bed and foldout bed were good beds. The kitchen served us well. It has all the tier 1 basics: one large pot with no lid and one large pan, two smaller pots with lids, exactly 6 large plates, 6 small plates, 6 bowls, 6 large glasses, 6 small glasses, one cooking spatula, one cooking spoon, exactly 2 kitchen towels, etc. But they were all good quality, which is not always true of vacation condo kitchens. Some tier 2 basics were missing: no oven mitt, no vegetable peeler. The only actual problem is the climate system. The control/sensor is in the main room. If you close the door to the bedroom over night it gets super hot, because the system disproportionately heats the bedroom and the sensor has no idea. After two nights of suffering we elected to keep the bedroom door open, which solved the problem. I think everyone would like the option to keep bedroom doors closed, though!

Mixed. While the location is great and the view spectacular, the accommodations were "okay." We noticed a really strange sweetly-sour type smell upon entering the room that lingered the entire stay in the living room area. Thankfully, we could keep the windows open whilst in the room. The bedroom/bathroom were very nice and comfortable, but the murphy wall bed was like sleeping on a rock. I woke up with numb arms from sleeping on my side multiple times. A foam topper on that mattress would go a long way. The kitchen was missing basic essentials and had no storage containers for leftovers during the stay. The third day, someone came into the room without our knowledge while we were out and emptied the trash cans. A heads up would have been nice. Overall, would stay at the same location, but not in this room with this management/cleaning service.

Roomy Condo hotel

We enjoyed the space and convenience of 2 bathrooms and the murphy bed. I found the king bed quite comfortable. It was nice for moving our stuff in that this condo is on the main level. The drawbacks were that the dishwasher is very slow, there were very limited dishes and cooking tools, and the windows are right next to the driveway to the hotel. Also, parking was a bit of an annoyance. We were given a code to one lot, but it didn't work in the other lot. We had to leave the first lot for plowing one night and there was no instruction as to where to park - the day lot had signs that said "no overnight parking." Then when we returned to the lot the next day the code had changed. Additionally, the instructions said to put a parking pass in the car, but there was not one in the unit. Thankfully, the Valet/Porters were helpful, but it was not ideal.
