Oar & Evergreen: Forest Views + Private Dock

We received a noise complaint from our neighbors regarding a party on the dock over the weekend. Additionally, our cleaner reported an excessive amount of trash left behind, which clearly violated our house rules against parties and loud gatherings. We expect guests to respect both our property and our neighborhood, and unfortunately, that did not happen during your stay.

We take great pride in our integrity, and we strongly dispute any claim that our listing photos are misleading. We use professional photography to accurately show the exact layout, dimensions, and furnishings so guests can evaluate if the space fits their needs before booking. Regarding our beds, we use breathable, high-quality protective covers solely for essential hygiene, not cheap plastic. When you reached out during your stay, our intention was simply to confirm the property matched the listing photos, not to invalidate your experience. While we were unable to offer a refund for your request to cancel a night early, we do want to clarify that you chose to stay through your full booking and did not leave early as stated. While we are sorry the furniture didn't suit your personal comfort preferences, we stand by the accuracy, cleanliness, and representation of our home. We wish you the best in your future travels!
