Pond front cabin

I am born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. I grew up as a tomboy with all boys. We played in the woods all the time, we made damns, built forts and dreamed of living in the woods. My happy place is with nature. I have made it a point to be surrounded by nature all day every day. I finally found my calling in 2004 as a part of Homestead Gardens, in Davidsonville, MD. I and have spent the past twenty years in one of the top 20 garden centers in the nation and am so proud for the experience and the education. With my ability to design, dream, and execute I worked my way up in the company to have the honor of sitting on the board of the Purchasing and Steering team at HG. My mission, now at 50 years old, is to change the experience of my campground by way of not just letting nature be nature, I want your experience to be experiential from the outside to inside. Coupling this with the introduction of pollinator and native plants throughout the grounds. My biggest success here at Camp Holly is the pond renovation. When I got here the creek was barely feeding the pond. Heartbreaking but I knew the pond is the center of these grounds, and I had to save the immediately. I can't wait for my guests to come and enjoy all of the nature my place has to offer.

I had been looking for property for a year or so with water features. And this property nailed it! A three-acre pond, a creek, and a river. It is so peaceful here. My hope is that this property gives my guests peace like it has given me.

This property is unique with the confluence of the creek and river. There are two spots in the river that you can wade in and cool off in the summer. You can fish in the river (must have a WV fishing license) and catch dinner. Not to mention the large catch and release pay pond (no license required).
