In 2020, we redesigned and furnished our listed forge 1860 with its historic brick architecture. Here in Groß Dratow you will find an extraordinary ambience to linger, be and enjoy. In the immediate vicinity of Waren (Müritz), directly at the Müritz National Park, in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Our five individual double rooms are modern and furnished with great attention to detail and have barrier-free showers, satellite TV, WiFi, comfortable mattresses, cozy bed linen and cozy bathroom textiles. They give you space to find peace and to be completely for yourself.

We want you to feel completely comfortable on your vacation. In our house, in our garden, as our guests.

If you don't want to get out, just stay 'to Hus'. If you want, start the morning with breakfast together with other guests, grab a book and park in your armchair, finally write a lot of postcards in the garden or just enjoy nature.

If you feel seduced by the delicious smells from the schmiede1860 café, you can expect a selection of snacks, cakes, crumbles or other small meals. Let the day end with a refreshing drink or two. In our schmiede1860 restaurant, we will be happy to conjure up delicious menus for you in the evening if you reserve in advance.

On request, an extra bed for 1 child is possible in rooms # 3 and # 4. In room # 5, 1-2 children can sleep on the sofa bed (1.90 x 1.13 m), depending on space requirements.
Children up to 4 years of age stay for free in the cot or in the parents' bed.
For children up to 10 years of age the extra bed including breakfast costs € 20.00 per night (including VAT), from 11 to 14 years € 40.00 per night (including VAT).

For families with more space, rooms # 4 and # 5 on the upper floor, which are connected to each other via a private hallway, are a family suite.
