Welcome at Sea Shell, a comfortable private apartment situated on The Schelp, close to the dunes and city centre of Zandvoort.
Free parking around the building, through license plate registration.
There is 1 bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds and a sleeping sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with even a washing machine in the kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and a toilet.
As a guest you have private entrance to the house with a private terrace and a shared/common big garden on the premises. There is always a spot to enjoy the weather.

## Neighborhood


The elongated beach of Zandvoort offers many beach clubs where you can eat and drink in the summer. You can relax on a beach bed, enjoy nature, dip your feet in the sand or take a lovely walk. In winter, less Beach clubs are open, but you can still come and enjoy the sometimes wild sea and beautiful nature.
Zandvoort is also called "Amsterdam Beach" because you can get to Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes by train! The hustle and bustle of the city just around the corner and an accommodation where you can relax and enjoy the beach and nature.
The Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen are two National Parks where you can take beautiful walks and cycle tours.
Would you like to experience a sporty day? Then there are plenty of possibilities such as: mountain biking, learning to kite or wave surf, getting your PADI, sailing or horse riding.
Circuit Park Zandvoort is situated at the edge of Zandvoort, surrounded by dunes and beach. You can visit various events there such as the world famous Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort and the ADAC GT Masters.

## Transit

Zandvoort train station is at walking distance, direct connections with Amsterdam, Haarlem and Schiphol Airport.
The train station is only 15 minutes by foot and the bus stop just across the street (2 minutes by foot)

Pretty Apartment near the Centre of Zandvoort

Pretty good equiped apartment on a hill near the centre of Zandvoort with parking in front. With the harsh wind we had, it was pretty loud and some of the kitchen utensiles were a bit dirty. Otherwisw we had a nice stay.

Almost excellent

Great place! where it is a short distance (10 - 15 min) to the beach, the city and the train station (Amsterdam 30 min). Walking among the dunes or in the National park is also great, just one stop by train or a short bike ride away. The apartment is nicely furnished, but we just struggled a bit with the blinds. A better kettle would also be useful. We had a great time here and highly recommend it to everyone.

Poor Communication and very bad handling of issues

The property is fine. The problems we had were with the communication from the host and how serious issues we had were handled, or rather not handled. Having issues is not the problem as they can happen anytime or out of anyones control. How you respond to guests having issues and what you do to remedy these things is very important. In our case we had some hygiene issues and important appliances not working and have had very little to no support from the host. Most of the time we got no response to questions and when they finally were ready to send someone to at least look at the washing machine on the last day we were there (after we raised the issue 3 weeks before) noone actually showed up.

Gute Lage, teilweise schlechter Zustand

Die Lage ist wie angegeben gut. Alles ist zu Fuss innert wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Die Wohnung liegt etwas versteckt, mit dem Willkommensvideo ist sie jedoch gut zu finden. Die wifi Angaben waren falsch und den Schalter fĂŒr das warme Wasser mussten wir auch selbst suchen. Die Ausstattung ist ok. Die Matratzen sind furchtbar. Zu weich und komplett durchgelegen. Ausserdem hatten wir eine Maus als Mitbewohner!!!!

Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort

Das Parkieren vom Fahrzeug an der Unterkunft war kein Problem. Es muss vorab das Kennzeichen angegeben werden. Der Eingang ist etwas versteckt, mit dem Willkommens-Video aber ohne Probleme zu finden. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es was alles gut zu Finden. Der Circuit Zandvoort ist etwa 25-35 Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt. WĂŒrde mich wieder fĂŒr einen Aufenthalt entscheiden.

Nie wieder

Wir mussten unseren Aufenthalt nach 3 von 12 NĂ€chten abbrechen. Die bereitgestellte und bezogene BettwĂ€sche hatte Flecken und fremde Haare drauf, die Betten waren extrem durchgelegen und hatten Kuhlen. Der Wasserkocher, sowie diverse KĂŒchenutensilien waren dreckig. Es kann jeder in die Wohnung reinschauen und es zieht. Es ist sehr hellhörig und an der Außenwand hĂ€ngt ein nicht abnehmbares Thermometer welches bei Wind immer gegen die Hauswand schlĂ€gt, wodurch es extrem laut ist. Die Heizung im Schlafzimmer ist fast abgefallen, Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist kaum vorhanden. Zum krönenden Abschluss hatten wir MĂ€use in der Wohnung wodurch wir direkt unseren Aufenthalt abgebrochen haben!

UnverhĂ€ltnismĂ€ĂŸiger Preis

Die Ansprechpartner waren sehr nett und freundlich. Wir hatten die Wohnung fĂŒr 3 Erwachsene gebucht, es war jedoch nur fĂŒr zwei vorbereitet. Die fehlenden HandtĂŒcher, Bettlaken und Betttuch wurden schnell nachgeliefert auf Anfrage. Das Wohnzimmer und die KĂŒche sind ok, aber das Schlafzimmer viel zu klein, das kleine Doppelbett ziemlich durchgelegen, das Bad sehr klein und die Wohnung sehr hellhörig. Der Preis zu hoch dafĂŒr.

Schöne Ferienwohnung fĂŒr Kurzurlaub

Ferienwohnung mit guter Lage (Strand fußlĂ€ufig). Sehr gute Ausstattung (KĂŒche, Waschmaschine, HandtĂŒcher, Seife etc.) fĂŒr einen Kurztrip und schön gerĂ€umig fĂŒr 2 Personen. Terrasse ebenfalls toll. Nette Kommunikation mit der Vermietungsagentur. Parksituation teilweise schwierig bei Auslastung der „Anlage", etwas hellhörig, Einrichtung wirkt eher gĂŒnstig und ist zum Teil schwerfĂ€llig (beim Öffnen etc.), Sauberkeit mit Verbesserungspotential (Flecken auf BettwĂ€sche, Toaster dreckig, muffiger Geruch bei Ankunft), Hoher Preis trotz kurzfristigen Buchens eher nicht gerechtfertigt. Allerdings alles in allem zu empfehlen.
