Rich in historic character and timeless comfort, the room features a queen-sized bed, a private bath with shower, and a fireplace offering a peaceful escape in a truly unique setting. Points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication et emplacement.
The Belvedere Estate was a beautiful building and the grounds were very nicely kept but I would not recommend the Abbey Room. The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt like you were sleeping on springs, definitely not a refreshing weekend of sleep. The room was incredibly hot - the estate has AC, but with the home being older, no cold air was coming out of our vents and windows barely opened to allow for air flow. I felt the advertised “delicious continental breakfast” was lacking for what you pay to stay here (bags of bagels, yogurt, and beverages). I can not speak for any of the others rooms on the property, but would not recommend the Abbey Room. Location was convenient to downtown Saugatuck and the host was easy to communicate with.
