Family Retreat

This is a great house for an extended family retreat. Nice kitchen and eating areas with great views. Roomy bedrooms are also nice. It also is very nicely maintained.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The house feels neglected. The last thing I want to do on my vacation is clean, yet all the dishes I tried to use were dirty. The kitchen seemed to be stocked by items from a garage sale. Some of the ceramic baking dishes were badly cracked and all unclean. They cleaned up easily with a sponge. The same with the metal baking trays. The oven was very dirty with piled up food on the bottom. The deck too was starting to fall apart and the furniture was worn out, needing attention. The house does have nice views of the sound and it does have plenty of room for larger groups. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the sheets of decent quality. The house just needs some attention and investment.

Amazing house with a great view of the water! We traveled with another family (3 adults and 4 kids total) and this house was perfect. Very spacious - all the kids had their own rooms. Amazing deck that overlooks the water. The house was close to Eastsound and all of the activities we wanted to do. One day of our trip was rainy and cold, so we spent the day relaxing at the house, playing games and reading books. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return! The only negative was that the pillows on the beds weren’t great (but I am a pillow snob), so bring your own if you can.

Gorgeous Home with Water View

We really enjoyed our stay on Orcas Island. This home is very spacious and well-appointed. My favorite part was the deck with an amazing view of the water. We were a group of 7 - 3 adults and 4 kids. This house was perfect for us. The kids each had their own room. The kitchen was large and we put it to good use. It did get pretty warm at night in the upstairs bedrooms, but the ceiling fans helped. The house is very close to Eastsound, which was super convenient, but is also in a very private and quiet area. We really would love to stay here again!

Sweet Spot

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Everything is very clean and comfy, four kids all had rooms to themselves, and lots of bathrooms makes for a very relaxing vacation for two families. We are already hoping to be back!!

Even better than pictured. So comfortable and fun! We loved playing the piano, great game selection, and lots of time on the deck listening to birds and watching boats and aircraft travel Eastsound. The sunsets are not to be missed. It was a wonderful stay!

A beautiful home with tons of room and a deck with a view that we didn’t want to leave. This is a great house for having a magical Orcas Island experience. The kitchen is very well stocked. We were able to make some meals and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy.
