Superbe Mountain Retreat à Golden BC

Ce magnifique chalet en ossature bois est l'ultime escapade à la montagne offrant la tranquillité incroyable et le sentiment unique d'être immergé dans la nature. La cabine (1800 pi2) est nommé moderne avec 3 chambres, un maître loft et 2 salles de bain complètes dont une grande baignoire à remous. Profitez de la cuisine et salle à manger dans une cuisine entièrement équipée avec une cuisinière à gaz et à manger pouvant accueillir confortablement 6-8.

Les plafonds voûtés et un foyer au bois font pour un confort douillet dans le salon. Ou, profiter d'un film et de divertissement dans la salle des médias situé dans le sous-sol entièrement développé. Juste à l'extérieur de la porte est une grande terrasse voûtée couverte avec un barbecue à gaz et salle à manger extérieure qui ouvrent à une année foyer extérieur. Internet sans fil, la télévision par satellite et d'un lave-vaisselle sont également inclus.

Entouré de nature sauvage de tous les côtés et à distance de marche de la rivière Blaeberry, la nature est juste devant la porte. Sentiers de randonnée abondent, y compris la rivière des promenades faciles à brouille montagne pleine. Pendant les mois d'été, la rivière offre l'opportunité pour le canoë et le rafting. En hiver, profitez des sentiers de ski de fond illimitée terrain de raquette, le ski de piste prévues ou motoneige sur les terres de la Couronne à proximité.

La ville de Golden est un lecteur de 20 minutes offrant loin loisirs supplémentaires, y compris le ski, le rafting et le parapente. Vous cherchez pour le ski et l'équitation épique? Kicking Horse Resort et son légendaire poudre sont à seulement 25 minutes. Pour les amateurs de ski de fond, la montagne Dawn a plus de 30 km de pistes damées allant de débutant à avancé. Very nice place to stay in Blaeberry, perfect location for skiing in Rogers pass or Yoho. Also very close to Thomson falls.Place was awesome, fire stove and fully equipped kitchen made this place a great basecamp. Would recommend and probably come back !

Great for a Ski Vacation

We stayed here for a backcountry ski vacation. A good quiet place out of town. On the way to Roger’s pass, and not too far of a drive to the Icefields. The property was well equipped and Barb was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would return to this property.

Cabin off the beaten path

Great cabin off the beaten path. The host was great and the property is beautiful. It is a bit of a drive to certain locations, but if you like being out in nature and not surrounded by lots of people, you’ll love this. House was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Quite a ways out was unsure of direction at first but rental was in excellent condition and the privacy was great and would recommend it to others

The cabin in the woods

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful cabin in the woods and Barb was the ultimate host, recommending things to do and places to visit. Our family felt so comfortable and cosy in this special home away from home and would love to return one day.

Beautiful Getaway

Loved EVERYTHING about this place. It's fairly remote and allows you to just reconnect to nature. The outdoor patio was a dream, along with the lights and grill. The kitchen was well stocked. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Great weekend getaway!

Barb was such a thoughtful host and the cabin was great. Really appreciated Barb’s communication and willingness to go out of her way to make sure that we had the best time. There were many options of things to do and the cabin was well-organized and so cozy. Would definitely go again!

Home Base for Rogers Pass Ski Trip

A group of four of us rented this house for a ski trip in nearby Rogers Pass. This was a great house for a group of our four. Spacious, yet still cozy with everything you need for a mountain stay, including a wood stove, back deck and mountain views. Barb was a great host who was easy to contact and super helpful. We would stay here again!

Feel like a home away from home

Very quiet and peaceful property to enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Friendly and very interactive host. Easy to get hold and communicate with her. Definitely consider staying here again. Just missed a tower fan in the living area during the stay as it was too hot during our stay otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

Pleasant remote cabin

This is a nice well maintained lodge in a beautiful albeit remote location. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The one thing that my family sorely missed was a washer/dryer. I think that for a house of this size in a remote location, a laundry would be a much needed addition.

Peaceful Getaway

Barb's place is amazing! Easily accommodates 4 snorers so we can't hear each other. Beautiful backyard for campfires, sun tanning, yoga, etc. Lots to do in the area. Golden is a beautiful town with a nice brewery. There is a 13km round trip hike to a waterfall with lots to see along the way. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Perfect Escape

In the chaos of life and uncertainty of people, these days, this place was the perfect escape from it all. It was peaceful, remote, but still within 20 minutes of civilization. It was the perfect reset, reconnect and beautifully put together place. Barb was amazing, the cabin was wonderfully equipped with enough necessities for our guys weekend. Amazing.

Amazing attention to detail

Barb is fabulous! She is thoughtful in her communication with guests and has literally thought of everything. There is signage all throughout the cabin that helps guests make the most out of their stay. The decor is spectacular and makes you feel right at home. Our kiddos settled in instantly and even they had more they needed to stay entertained all week long. When we weren’t revelling in the splendour of the cabin, our family enjoyed the area based on all of Barb’s recommendations. From river rock collecting, bison ranch touring, mountain lake swimming, everyday was an adventure. In the early mornings, I even took a few mom moments and enjoyed my book in peace in the garden sitting area. It inspired me to take that feeling of tranquility home. On our first day, a bear ventured onto the property. With Barb’s warning, we knew we were in bear country and were able to scare it away for the whole week. Thank you Barb for a wonderful experience - we miss the cabin so much already! Count us in for future stays in the area - your piece of paradise is a must choice!

Getaway in the mountains

Spacious cabin in the mountains close to Blaeberry river. Nice backyard with fire place. We had an awesome time here, nothing was missing. Golden is the next town about 20 minutes away. Gravel road, so high clearance car is recommended but not a must have. Depends on the time of the year. Barb was a nice host looking after us.

I love the beauty and natural landscape Golden has to offer. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast that can't seem to get enough of the great outdoors! I can often be found out on my cross country skis. Or in the summer months I'll be out for a run, enjoying a hike or soaking in beauty of the Blaeberry River. In my work life I share my passion for health and wellness with others. I can often be found perusing the shelves of a local health store, sourcing local food, or puttering in my kitchen making delicious food with a glass of wine in hand! I hope you enjoy this mountain retreat as much as we do.
