Brienz is an ideal starting point for excursions to nearby towns such as Lucerne, Bern, Thun and Interlaken or to Grindelwald and the impressive Susten and Grimsel passes. The region offers a wide range of sports, from mountaineering, ice skating, golf, canoeing, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, cycling tours, rafting, horse riding and tobogganing to skiing (alpine and cross-country), surfing, sailing, diving and tennis. There's something for everyone here.
