Afterwards, take a seat for a cosy meal in the dining room and dine at a window seat. Möckern railway station is located in the Leipzig Möckern district. The city centre can be reached in 10 minutes by S-Bahn S1 directly in front of the house to the market square. You can also use tram line 11. The journey time to the centre is also 10 minutes in this case. There are many shops, restaurants, wine bars, pizzerias and a butcher's shop within a 500 metre radius. For those seeking relaxation, there is a small lake in the immediate vicinity, the Auensee, about 3 kilometres away. Sports enthusiasts and nature lovers can go jogging and hiking in the Auenwald forest right from the railway station.

The station was closed in 2005 as the modernised ticket system rendered the building useless for this purpose.
