Ne choisissez pas une maison hors du lac, asseyez-vous sur le pont du 2e étage et regardez par-dessus le lac en été, en automne, en hiver ou au printemps. Utilisation gratuite de l'accès à la plage directement de l'autre côté de la rue. Notre maison est idéalement situé à distance de marche des restaurants, ou split rock. Le lac se trouve juste de l’autre côté de la rue, ce qui vous permet de pendre vos pieds dans le lac à partir d’un quai. Hickory Run State Park est à 10 minutes en voiture pour les sentiers de randonnée. Pour l'hiver, notre maison est à 1,5 km de Big Boulder et à 3 km du domaine skiable de Jack Frost. La maison dispose de 5 chambres toutes équipées de lits doubles / king-size. Le salon en bas comprend un canapé-lit et des lits superposés. Le salon spacieux comprend un poêle à charbon / bois et une télévision à écran plat aux deux étages avec une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Des portes-fenêtres menant au pont supérieur avant avec vue sur Lake Harmony. distance de marche des restaurants et des pubs. Les attractions de Split Rock sont à seulement 1,6 km. Parc d'État de Hickory Run à 11 km. Nous sommes très fiers de donner aux familles une expérience familiale inoubliable. Nous allons aider nos locataires avec tout ce que nous pouvons. Great spot!

This cabin was a wonderful spot for a getaway with several of our close friends. It was a great value, and very accommodating for young children and pets. The cabin itself comes with plenty to do, including a fire pit, kayaks, and a paddle boat, but the area also has several small restaurants and shops within walking distance. Jen and Jeff were very responsive and helpful during our stay as well.

Had a great trip at Jen's place. The house was even better then the pictures and was very comfortable for 6 of us plus 2 dogs. Right across from the lake with easy access but is down a steep hill which wouldn't be good if someone had mobility issues. We loved all the games, fooball, air hockey, ax throwing, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful house and location

My friends and I stayed at your house for our annual old guys weekend to catch up, the house was better than advertised, there is a great view from the deck, and we plan to stay there in future years if its available. Thank you for your great hospitality.

The place was good but a bit dusty and dog hair here and there. I was given three different addresses which was a bit confusing when we checked in. Host was pretty responsive so any questions I had she was answering it promptly. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and baking items you could think of.

Great Stay

My family and I stay at this property for a long weekend. The house was very clean and smelled incredible. They even had a nice welcome basket with lots of snacks. The house was big enough for the 8 of us and was in a great locations only thing was that it’s listed as a 5 bedroom when it was only a four but there was plenty of room for us all to sleep. I would definitely rent this house in the future.

Wonderful house

The house was very cozy for my group of friends and I. We felt as if we were at home. The view from the upper deck was gorgeous, including the view of the lake. The owners let it be known that they were willing to assist and accommodate us if needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that wants to be in a relaxing environment and also not far from the ski site in the winter time. Thanks Jen and Jeff for a great stay .

Wonderful long weekend

The house is great, it has all the essentials plus pantry items that most rentals don't include, also linens and towels. The location and view are wonderful, close to several restaurants. The owner communicates almost immediately for questions or problems. Check-in is easy The Wi-Fi signal wasn't always great, but probably a system issue as our cell phones had trouble also. We had a couple minor items that needed to be fixed, one she had fixed immediately, the other we told her could wait, neither affected our stay. Jenn left a gift basket on arrival, and made sure we had a great stay.

Great stay will definitely come again!

Had a great weekend trip with friends. Kitchen had ample cooking/kitchen materials which was a plus for us as we had a large group. The hosts were super communicative and great to work with. A friend of mine had left their ear pods at the house and the hosts were able to return them to us so easily! Only minor issue was the WiFi. I frequently come up to the area so I know internet can be an issue but with 12 people it was hard to connect in the home sometimes. Overall would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Wonderful Home and Vacation!

We had such a great time at this house. It is located in a perfect area in Lake Harmony. There is a beautiful view of the lake. There is plenty of room for more than one family. It was so nice to have an entertainment area downstairs for the kids. The home is beautifully appointed - some really neat antiques. It would be great to have a dishwasher, but it still worked out wonderfully. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

NOT AS PICTURED - Buyer Beware!

Where to begin: There is NO BEACH. Throw rugs were filthy. Upper and lower decks had peeling paint and looked like a frat house. Oven and grill did not work. Living room window was badly broken with protruding glass. The owner sent a maintenance man, who repaired the window by taping cardboard on both sides. Eventually, they replaced the stove. Still no beach, even though a pristine beach is pictured. The deck, with a beautiful view of the lake, is uncomfortable because it is unkempt. After speaking with VRBO and the owner, we tried get a refund and/or go somewhere else. The owner said no refunds, even though the property was fraudulently represented. It's a shame because the actual house could be quite beautiful but has not been cared for in years. The cabinets and fridge had a lot of food, leaving little space for our food. We were hugely disappointed and upset, as we looked forward to this much needed vacation.

The home was absolutely lovely! It was spacious, clean, and had a lot of things present like cooking supplies, magazines, Jenga, air hockey, and a lot of candles! Very accommodating with our requests, such as putting sheets on the beds for us prior to us arriving. The location was perfect to go to restaurants such as Shenanigans, Piggy's, and Nick's Lake House. A quick drive to Split Rock Resort and Jack Frost mountain. There was also a beautiful view of the lake! We all had a very great time and would definitely book with the Wainwright's again for our next trip to the Pocono's.

Great for family and pets!

It was really hard for us to find a rental with 14 people and 5 dogs. When the owner told us there was no limit or extra charge for having the dogs, I was really happy. I didn't have too high of an expectation since many reviews said the house was old and run-down. However, the house was really neat and clean! Although it was an old house and some of the hardware were out of date, the owners made it really cozy and felt just like home. The description of the configuration of the house was a little confusing. We were a little worried that there wouldn't be enough beds for us and brought sleeping bags just in case. In fact, there were more than enough for the 14 of us and the kids loved the basement area. To make it clear, there are 2 double beds, one queen bed, one king bed, one double futon, one double and single bulk, a total of 7 beds! The owners were really nice and responsive. We left a camera behind, they emailed me right away and sent it back at no charge! One thing I do want to mention though is that there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal. Didn't create any problem for us, but could be a quick upgrade to have.

Not what we hoped for given reviews we had read.

Home was spacious but seemed run down and not appropriate as a rental. The place is dark with poor lighting and the lower level smelled of mildew. Nice fire pit and parking was more than adequate. The biggest disappointment was access to the lake. Prior reviews talked about family living across the street and down a hill to the beach, and friendly welcoming access. Not our experience. We felt uncomfortable entering the property, and this was the reason for being there-the lake. The friendly access just wasn’t and though the dated, unkept home could have been overlooked-the daily oddness of what felt like intrusion-made for a negative experience.

Great location

It was the perfect getaway. Cute home with lots to do. The private beach, kayaks and paddle board kept the kids entertainined. Hawks Falls and boulder field were a short drive away and really added to our trip. The house had a great room downstairs for the kids to hang out in . Overall everyone had an awesome time.

Excellent location!!

Our family had a spectacular time while staying here. The house is clean and comfortable, the available lake access was so convenient and it was truly beautiful. It was perfect for our whole family including our 2 year old grandson. If you're looking for a home with plenty of space, with direct access to Lake Harmony, and that's just like a home away from home, then this is the place for you!!

I have been in law enforcement for almost 20 years. I grew up in Bethlehem, Pa and moved to Lake Harmony after High school. My family enjoys coming to the lake for water skiing, fishing, hiking, skiing, hunting, and snowmobiling.

The views on the front porch and the clean smelling morning air. You can go to a house totally off the lake which will defeat the purpose of coming to the poconos. Our house is easy to find and close to the attractions.
