Situé à seulement 7 miles à l'extérieur de Seward Alaska dans la subdivision lac de l'Ours. Tiehacker Logement est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter de la beauté de l'Alaska. Vous pourrez vous promener dans les sentiers à proximité, regarder les aigles planent, vue poissons et porte parfois à la Bear Lake Weir, visiter les nombreuses attractions locales, ou tout simplement vous détendre avec une partie de billard ou d'un tremper dans le bain à remous.

Avec plus de 1200 pieds carrés d'espace privé et un grand parking, nous offrons à nos clients des chambres propres, confortables et spacieuses. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour vous aider à profiter de votre visite à la belle Seward Alaska!

Nous vous proposons une chambre avec un lit king size. Connecté à un bain privée avec baignoire à remous et douche séparée. AccÚs privé à une salle de jeu avec deux futons qui se replient dans un double lit, une table de billard et des jeux vidéo. Un troisiÚme futon qui se replie en un lit double se trouve dans la voie d'entrée.
PropriĂ©taires Melissa et Jeff Schutter ont tous deux grandi et Ă©levĂ© deux enfants ensemble dans Seward. Nous avons un amour de l'Alaska et aiment le plein air. Nous passons notre temps libre de la randonnĂ©e, pĂȘche, camping, VTT, ou simplement se dĂ©tendre Ă  la maison.

Things were clean, and the kitchen and the house were well-stocked. Things to improve: there are NO towel bars or hooks in the bathroom -- very uncomfortable, especially with 4 people. Also no mirrors in 2 bedrooms, and no bedside lamps in any bedrooms. Last: adding extra charges per person over 2 people, when the # of people complies with the listing is not cool. Nor are extra 'laundry' charges. Would have given Top Reviews if that had not been done.

Clean and very comfortable. The bedding was quite nice - softest sheets!! The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was in good working order. Lovely, wooded neighborhood - very quiet and peaceful. We found the location to be quite convenient - it’s about a 10min drive to Safeway for groceries and just another 2-3min past that and you’re in downtown Seward.

2nd story accommodations

This property was as listed. Nothing special but it did the trick. It's worth noting there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom. This posed a little difficulty when putting our infants down since it doesn’t get dark until midnight or later. It does seem silly to charge an additional 25 per person per night after 2 guests when the property listing say it’s sleeps 6. Seems like the owner/listing is trying to be tricky - why not just increase the overall price, or drop the number of guests it’s sleeps on the listing? Only mentioning bc this was overlooked when we booked and were a little blindsided by it. It was easy to get to town- dinner, coffee, grocery, shopping- and the park so that was a plus. Note the owner is on site so if you don’t mind running into them while you’re hanging out, it’s worth booking.

Just what we needed

Great place to stay for us five adults! A short drive from Seward in the woods near a creek. Plenty of space to spread out, easy access and a fully furnished kitchen. Everything was tidy and exactly as described. The hosts were very helpful as well and we definitely recommend Tiehacker Lodging,

Not very peaceful and seems like an impound lot of the owners vehicles, the property didn’t add to the Alaska experience we were hoping for.

Perfect location. Everything you need!

This house was in the perfect location and was exceptionally clean with everything a family could need for a stay in the Seward area. The hosts live on property but were very hospitable and gave us privacy. There was plenty of parking, convenient to Seward, groceries, and amenities, and was easy to find. The beds were comfortable and encased in sealed mattress protectors. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a washer and dryer! We would definitely stay there again!

Convenient lodging

This apartment was spacious and in a convenient location. The wifi worked well and the yard was nice for the kids to play in. It was also nice having a laundry room available. However, I was disappointed that the bathroom and kitchen weren't clean at time of check in. I ended up clorox wiping them down to clean.

Convenient access to Seward and Kenai Peninsula

The best aspect of this property is its location. We really wanted to visit the Kenai National Park on foot and by boat. We enjoyed being tourists in Seward, visiting the small shops, coffee houses, Aquarium and had a nice seafood dinner. The property was functional but less inviting compared with other properties we stayed in. For example, on entering the property there is a rather small area to remove shoes (Alsakan practice) with a metal folding chair. The first night was chilly, and the comforters were too light for us. We had to take a blanket from the living room and found another in the laundry room to keep warm. The bathroom was quite small for our group of 5. Nonetheless, given the options for accommodations in the area and the access the property provided to this part of Alaska, I don't regret staying there.

This home is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed. Very comfortable and spacious. It is a perfect location if you like to hike and enjoy nature as it is a short walk to some nice trails. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. It is also a short drive to Seward which is a great town and the center for all your activities. I will stay here again.

Very functional stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Seward. The house was very large for us, 2 couples, with a nice size kitchen and dining room and a comfortable couch in the family room. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to other visitors!
