These smaller scorpions are native to our area, and are not venomous. Each of our cabins are professionally treated by our local pest control company, but, even with our best efforts an occasional insect can sneak in. Thank you for your opinion of your stay at Pinnacle Vista, Janice. The cabin itself was clean. However, the carpets had some stains that could not be removed. After receiving the owner's approval, all of the carpeting in the lower level of the cabin was removed and replaced with beautiful laminate flooring. Customer service will return any missed calls within 15 minutes or less during high volume times. We apologize if they did not answer right away, but you should never have to wait an extended period of time to hear back from them. They were backlogged in the laundry department the day of your arrival. While your towels weren't in your unit upon your arrival, we did get them to you as soon as we could. We are sorry that you feel this stay left a bad taste in your mouth. We certainly hope you could look past these minor hiccups you experienced and would consider a future stay with us.
