Hi Fiona, Thank you for your review, and for contacting us to say that you had a good stay. We're pleased to hear that you found our holiday cottage charming and well-equipped, and that you found the spa and pools excellent. Together with the hundred of acres of countryside and lakes, the exclusive spa facilities are some of the highlights for guests staying in Lower MIll Estate houses. A very wide range of guests have enjoyed a stay at Cornerstone Cottage, families, groups of friends and inter-generational groups. Even though our holiday home is not as large as some other properties, some of our guests in groups of 8 adults have commented that they have stayed in larger Lower Mill Estate houses and prefer the charm of staying in a Cotswold stone cottage, and many of them find Cornerstone Cottage to be spacious as well. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay - please feel welcome again. Best wishes Vanessa & Tim

Jonni, Thank you for taking the time to write a review - your comments are very helpful. It's wonderful to hear you had a good time at our holiday home over New Year again. You have described exactly what we aim to be - 'home-away-from-home with enough luxury to make things special'. Each year we add a few more luxurious touches and we are grateful for the suggestions people have made. Recently we have added the Nespresso machine and air conditioning (all helped by the upgraded insulation of the cottage, new windows and doors. We are also now featuring fine dining from the highly rated chef-to-you.com personal chef service. We're always delighted to welcome you back to Cornerstone Cottage.. Happy New Year and see you again in the not-to-distant future. Warm wishes, Tim & Vanessa

We want our guests to have the stay they are looking for and more, and we can do this best when guests communicate with us before and during their stay as you did. Thank you for taking time to write a review. Yes, Cornerstone Cottage doesn't have the direct lake views of some of the more expensive LME houses. We're pleased to hear that you found our location charming. We are in one of the most tranquil locations away from the the coming-and-going of other parts of the estate, and yet only a short walk from all LME faciliites. Hi Catherine, So glad to hear you had such a great time. There really are so many great things to do and enjoy - it really does sound like you did a lot! And especially with friends coming from some distance within the UK and from abroad Sorry if you didn't understand that we have two bunk bed rooms. The larger Lower Mill Estate houses have 2 single beds in their 3rd and 4th bedrooms - and they generally cost considerably more to rent than our holiday home, Cornerstone Cottage. Thank you for taking time to write a review. We're touched that you felt cared for - that really is our aim. We want all of our guests to "Relax, Revive, Enjoy, Explore" and all the other wonderful things that Cornerstone Cottage, Lower Mill Estate and the Cotswolds have to offer. We're really pleased you enjoyed your time at our holiday home - and that it gave you a good chance to get together with another family for time away together. It's great to hear that you were able to enjoy the cottage and the amenities nearby. Like you we love the village that Cornerstone Cottage is part of - it's very different than the modernist and experimental houses on other parts of Lower Mill Estate. Mill Village has charming and characterful traditional Cotswold stone houses - many of our guests have commented on this. Thank you for taking time to write your review. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Best wishes Vanessa & Tim

Hi Sophie, So glad you enjoyed your stay at our holiday home, and thank you for writing to let us know. It's great to hear you like Cornerstone Cottage so much - and, yes, the sundeck is one of its best features. It's a lovely tranquil location and we enjoyed specifying the design of the decking when the house was built for us. We've chosen furniture and BBQ that makes the most of the unique location overlooking the Mill Village Water Garden. Perhaps the location of the house and the deck are the reason we keep finding online magazine luxury travel articles with pictures of Cornerstone Cottage seen over the Water Garden. We'd love to hear more about the Cotswold villages you discovered - we've explored many of them ourselves, but there are so many lovely places to discover and enjoy. We're looking forward to welcoming you again. Best wishes Vanessa & Tim
