Apartment was in a fantastic location. Our balcony overlooked the town, we could hear the music on the balcony, but not in the condo, so we felt part of the festivities, without the crowds and noise. About a 10-15 minute walk to escalators into town. Lots of tuktuk and taxis to take you back up the hill if you can’t walk it, but it was a nice walk. Very safe area. Now to the condo and owner, the condo is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, but lots of amazing restaurants close by, grocery stores are also within walking distance, and Helena has provided a bundle buggy to bring them back. Helena (owner) was amazing, she helped us immesurably with several personal problems we had, (nothing to do with condo) can’t say enough about the quality of her help and service. We will be back, asap.

An oasis away from the busyness of town

Helena is an amazing host, fab communication and the apartment was clean, tidy and had everything you need. And yes, the view is spectacular!

A lovely holiday

The apartment as soon as walked in was very impressive with the design and decor. The apartment was lovely and clean and comfortable and modern with the best views of the roof tops of albufeira and the sea. . Two bathrooms in the apartment is a bonus also. The location is great as only 5 minute walk to the albufeira town which has lots of amenities and vibrant life. The beach is lovely too. Helena is lovely and we would go back again as we had such a relaxed enjoyable holiday

Wonderful stay in Albufeira!

Helena's apartment is very bright and comfortable, with a fantastic terrace overlooking the city and with sea view. The kitchen, which I used quite a lot, is well equipped, the furniture is nice and the space is big compared to other properties I visited during this trip.

Great choice

I rented this property for February and March and decided to stay for the month of Aprilas well. Great location, close to all the amenities. A five minute walk to a beautiful beach, shopping area, bars and restaurants.Helena, my hostess, has been amazing and when I return to Albufeira I hope this apartment is available to rent.

Relaxation and fun

Great views

The apartment is a good size for families with all necessary amenities. It is an easy walk to the beach, shops, and grocery stores. There are wonderful local restaurants within a 5 min walk. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay

The apartment is spacious & has everything that you could need. The views are amazing & you will experience awesome sunsets. Helena met us on arrival & was very helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect, within a short walking distance to old town, beaches, restaurants & supermarkets. Thankyou so much Helena, we can’t wait to come back.

very nice condo

this was a very nice condo, close to the beach, old town and shopping. The only complaint was the construction going on above our condo which woke us up some mornings.

What a view!

Beautiful and spacious apartment away from the noise of old town Albufeira. Only a 7 min walk to the beach and old town. An incredible view! Almost all amenities included. Helena was wonderful and provided great recommendations.

Good overall but some room For improvement

Overall very good but some small details could be improved ie kitchen utensils, towels. We enjoyed our stay despite the ongoing construction.

Wonderful host, excellent apartment with awesome view from the balcony. Very clean and updated apartment. Helena Diaz, the owner is a sweetheart and very helpful with all our needs during our stay. We stayed 14 days in this apartment and it felt like home. We recommand very strongly, you won’t regret it. We will be back !

Spectacular view and location

Beautiful view! This property’s location was ideal for me. I was a short walk from everything that was important to me. I came to Portugal to get out of the harsh Canadian winter and get daily outdoor exercise. Walked to the beach every afternoon after visiting a nearby patisserie and grabbing a few items for dinner from a large grocery store. My host was amazing and kept in touch just to ask how I was doing. I was very impressed with how clean the town was. I will rent this property again. Couldn’t have been any better.

The Perfect Spot

We had a lovely 12 days in this apartment. Great view of the old town and beach, day and night, with an easy 10 minute stroll to everything you could need. The pool was super handy when we fancied an even lazier day. The apartment was clean and very spacious with all the facilities you could need. Helena was super responsive and helpful, even arranging our transfers, so the whole experience was great. If we ever go back to Albufeira, this is where I'd want to stay. The perfect spot.

Great apartment in fantastic location. Host Helena was really friendly and helpful and provided some really good recommendations on where to visit in the area. Apartment is 10 minute walk to downtown Albufeira and beach. Great view of downtown and coast from apartment balcony. Beds comfortable and living room spacious with TV and internet all working well. Good size kitchen. Nearby Spar grocery store just round the corner and well stocked and Large Lidl store about 5 minute drive. Would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic apartment, amazing host!

We are a family of 4, and loved the apartment, it was as described and the view was beautiful, added bonus of electric shutters too!! There was also additional extras; deckchairs, sun umbrellas, pool toys, shopping trolleys, books, all these little touches that make a difference. The location was great. Not too far away but enough not to be bothered by the music in the old town. The beach/sea was again near enough, and stunning, and the people /locals were lovely too. Helena, our host was just absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble, a fountain of local knowledge and a wonderful person, all in all a perfect host, would highly recommend, and will definitely be going back, which is something we rarely do.

Super Family Accommodation

As a family, we have traveled to Albufeira many times. This apartment is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is perfectly described in the listing, very comfortable and well presented. Location is ideal. Far enough from the main centre (Old Town) to avoid the noise but still within easy walking distance. The view over Albufeira and to the sea is amazing. But the best part is the owner, Helena, who goes out of her way to make your stay the best experience. Helena offers advice on places to visit, how to get there and areas of interest when you arrive. She personally welcomes you to the apartment and helps you settle in. Helena even secured our luggage on our last day as we had a late flight home. Muito obrigado Helena. P.S. you should also visit Helena’s Portugal 100% Shop to see the beautiful pottery and art and try her homemade ice cream in The Sailor ice cream parlour (Old Town Square).

Lovely break

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was very clean and spacious and the view was fantastic. Communication was very good. Our initial flight was cancelled so we had to re- arrange our arrival time and transfer. Helena was very helpful and all done with the minimum of fuss. We have to mention our fabulous taxi driver organised through Helena who was so helpful and lovely too. The only problem we had was finding water so late at night and a bottle in the fridge would have been most welcome. Otherwise there was tea, sugar and, wonderfully, a coffee pod machine. The first coffee of the day on that balcony was so good! The walk to the town was super easy and close to restaurants and beach. I would mention that you can hear a bit of the nightlife when sitting on the balcony (we also have a great video of the cheers from when Portugal won their Euros game). We, and particularly our 16 year old son found this entertaining, but i would imagine that it would not suit my dad for example😊 We did take alot of photos from the balcony - the light and sunrise and sunset was just gorgeous! The pool was also very nice (down a few floors) All in all we had a great break. Thank you very much.

Nous avons adoré notte séjour chez Helena. Elle est dune tres grande gentillesse Son appartement est suoerbe, mieux que sur les photos !! La vue du balcon est majestueux !! Il est tres bien situé !! On entends la musique du fentre lorsquon est syr le balcon le soir, mais des que nous fermons les portes nous avons pu dormir sans problème !! Les lits sont tres confortables !
