I am a North Eastern lad, my wife of 49 years is from Winchester. Having lived all over the world we have finally come to live in the Durham area. Spent the previous 15 years in Spain but grew tired of the sunshine and so glad we did. This area is heaven on earth, ask my dogs, Niki and Gemma, both born in Spain but speak fluent English and now in their element !!
We had a holiday rental property in Spain and so enjoyed meeting and spoiling our guests decided to continue here in the UK. Come and visit this fabulous area, whatever you enjoy doing you will find it here, except perhaps sunbathing !!
Before retiring much of my life was in the international hotel business with various companies such as Hilton International in the Far East. We endeavour to bring these levels of hospitality to our holiday let's.

Apartment Bijou is very spacious and discrete. We have tried to make it as comfortable as it can be, especially the bedroom suite. The beds have been carefully chosen. A Sealy bed fits the bill very well, so comfortable you won't want to get up in the morning. There is also a large bathroom with double shower and a large bath.
The bedrooms have lots of hanging and shoe space, a spacious dressing table, ironing board with iron, cheval mirror and hair dryer. very comfortable indeed. The kitchen is very well equipped with all a person could want for full time living. while the lounge is equally well equipped.
In the lounge is a TV, DVD player with a selection of movies, can also play CD's, there are a variety of games including chess, dominoes, cards, jig saw, drafts and other board games. We have a selection of books on the book shelf in the bedroom.
