Obtenir la paix et la tranquillité et une vue magnifique.

Ce chalet confortable, situé dans une belle campagne et entourée de champs, est très facile d'accès de l'autoroute M74. Il est un excellent centre pour explorer soit la rive (environ 9 miles au Solway Firth) ou sur les collines. Il y a un certain nombre d'activités dans la région y compris la pêche, l'observation des oiseaux, Quad et le golf. Bien qu'il y ait beaucoup de choses à faire au niveau local ceux qui souhaitent voyager plus loin peut l'utiliser comme une base pour des excursions à Galloway dans l'Ouest ou les Scottish Borders à l'Est. Il est très pratique pour Carlisle (avec un accès facile à partir de là dans le Lake District) et moins de 2 heures d'Edimbourg et de Glasgow.

Nice quiet, warm cottage with Washing Machine and dryer.Lovely country side.So disappointed that the cottage is filthy dirty. The bedroom smelled awful don’t know why.Didn’t unpack any food as the cupboards were so dirty. So sad was looking forward to our visit.

Great option near the Scottish Borders

Bonshawbrae is a lovely clean accommodation. Very comfortable with everything you could need. Good WiFi reception in the kitchen and living room but we didn't need it as we enjoyed the tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of London very much. First time visiting this region - there is easy access from the M74 and 10 min by car from Tesco Superstore in Annan. Ideal for visiting Galloway Forest Park, this is also Scotland’s first Dark Sky Park – one of the best places to stargaze in Europe. Would very much love to return. Thank you.

What a gem of a find this beautiful little cottage is! Our first time staying here, it certainly won't be our last. The cottage has everything you need, it's so comfortable, and we found the interior to be very spacious, with bonuses like the drying / utility room, housing both a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen was also very well equipped, more than adequate for a self catered stay. The cottage was warm with just the heating, but we enjoyed the atmosphere of having the open fire going in the evening, very cosy. The bed was comfortable, and waking up to the view across the surrounding fields each morning a delight. The biggest plus point of this cottage has to be it's location, you have a private driveway leading up to it, we found it to be so quiet and peaceful. We loved watching the birds on the feeders out on the front bench outside with a morning cuppa, and then watching the sunset out on the back bench of an evening with a glass of wine. There are so many places to hike just a short drive away too. With the Langholme area, riverside walks on the river annan and Criffel being our favourites on this trip. Communication with George the owner was very efficient, and the information provided within the cottage itself very helpful. We can't recommend this place enough if you want to get away from it all and enjoy some tranquil surroundings, with nature all around you. Thank you for a wonderful break, just what we needed.

Family holiday 2021

This is a fantastic little cottage surrounded by fields. Very peaceful and scenic. Has everything you could need for the perfect stay. Our only issue was the double bed was very hard but we survived it!! Booking and communication were both effortless. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great cottage in a great location

This cottage was lovely nice and clean. Very private in a lovely tranquil environment. It had everything we needed. Ideal location to get to many places annan, gretna green wheres there's an outlet village for a bit of retail. Lockerbie and dumfries and galloway. We visited an amazing waterfall in moffat. There's supermarkets in annan which was only 9 mins away. Thank you for letting us rent this cottage we all enjoyed ourselves even the children lots of space for them outside to play.

Remote cottage

Needed accommodation as was working nights at Gretna. This cottage was absolutely perfect. No traffic noise as we slept during the day. Lovely area with views to open countryside. Owner was very helpful to, firstly allowing all male group in his property, secondly, answered all questions within minutes and lastly, a perfect host. This cottage was lovely with everything a family or group could need. Exceptionally clean and at a cost that seems unbelievably cheap. If anyone is looking for a lovely cottage, close to gretna/Carlisle, in the countryside away from noise, but close enough for motorway and shopping, then this is the ideal place for you. Can’t praise this home enough and will almost certainly be back. Jim Falkirk.

Lovely

We had a lovely break staying a few days in the cottage. The place is very welcoming with everything you need. Just what we needed to unwind. I loved that it felt quite secluded and waking up looking out the window to fields. We spent a good bit of time outdoors but loved coming back to the cottage to relax. Thanks

Honestly this place is amazing! In a lovely place, lovely cottage just everything was lovely. The cottage is actually massive and there’s lots of games/jigsaws for children and adults. Will definitely be back

very nice

even though we only were there for a couple of days, we were pleasantly surprised by the very nice spot of the house. Even though you have the idea that you are completely isoltaed it is very close to the town of Kittlebridge and also Lockerbie is very close by. ThYou canb do a lot of pleasant things in the neighbourhood, especially the coast to the south is worth exploring. The house was very clean and comfortable and the contact with the owner very pleasant.
