Lovely villa, fab pool, great location

We had a really fantastic holiday and the villa played a large part in that. It was spotlessly clean on arrival, the pool was fab and well maintained, the air conditioning was a God send as it was hot! The outside dining area was great and easily accommodated all 8 of us. It is very secure and part of a quiet residential area. The location is great as you can walk into El Campello in 15 minutes and the tram stop is 5 minutes away so you can venture out at low cost without the hassle of parking etc. El Campello has a gorgeous beach and lots of great places to eat. Everything is within easy distance and we didn't need to hire a car. The villa is not as well equipped as some we have stayed in - as mentioned in some of the other reviews on this site- limited kitchen equipment and utensils and there are only 4 sunbeds but it sleeps 8 people! The listing also mentions that housekeeping is included but this isn't quite right - we were there for two weeks and no cleaning service was provided but could be booked for an additional fee. The management company leave you alone but are responsive if you contact them. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice balance of villa holiday within easy reach of beach, restaurants and a bit of sight seeing.

Lovely villa- would definitely return

Property was lovely. Some areas could have had better cleaning. Outdoor furniture not cleaned. Outdoor chair cushions very threadbare and tatty but owner changed all the cushions halfway through our stay. We were told we could book in at 2pm so we booked an early flight. We were then told 2 days before the flight that we couldnt check in until 4pm as previous tenants checking out late. I argued the point as we were arriving at 10am but they wouldnt budge. So we had a drive round, went shopping and then went for lunch. Halfway through lunch at 2pm i received a text from the management company asking where we were. I replied we were having lunch. Their response was to tell me they were very busy and we should have been there at 2pm. We left our lunch and drove straight round. On our arrival, the person from the management company was just leaving. I shown her the texts about 4pm check in but she offered no apology or explanation. All future communication was ok. The villa owner is a lovely man and very attentive to our needs as we had a few problems due to the rainy weather. On the whole,our stay was lovely, we had a fabulous holiday and we would definitely go back

Haus El Campello

Der Aufenhalt war sehr schön das Haus sauber und die Kinder haben sich über den Pool gefreut. Zum Strand war es auch nicht so weit. Und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren auch sehr gut.

Superb Villa with only some minor flaws

Overall the villa was lovely and we had a great family holiday, however a couple of minor issues that we found with our stay was firstly that the sofa in the main lounge was covered with 2 bedsheets for protection and we were informed on check in these couldn't be removed, this made us aware everytime we used the area that we had to be cautious and inhibited us be able to relax 100%. Secondly the front area has some areas covered with artificial grass which asphetically is great however we were constantly getting a waft of stale urine, obviously from all the cats that liked to stray into the area and on a couple of occasions we had to pick up faeces that the cats had left behind!! The general location of the villa is great and so close to the Tram stop made getting around really easy. Also the cove at del Lop Marie across the road was stunning and provided us with the most amazing morning swims, with it's crystal clear waters and tranquility. We would without question definitely stay here again and as stated in the title the flaws raised are only minor in the big scheme of things.

Villa Not enough culterey glass cups and many damaged. No baking trays Lack of cook utensils No toaster Only 2 toilet rolls Only one bottle of water on arrival 1.5 litres for 7 guests Two sunlounger damaged and ripped seat pads. Ants in the the bathroom and kitchen and one bedroom No measuring jugs BBQ grill really dirty Pool not filtering/pump not working but sorted promptly Electricity kept shorting out when oven and dishwasher inuse. Outside furniture very old and rickety. Seat pads very poor and of low quality. On a positive smooth handover. Clean bedding towels and comfortable beds. Lovely space outside. Good WiFi and TV Close to tram stop and bins Comfortable and good sofa

Sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Haus

Wir hatten das Haus ursprünglich für 4 Personen gebucht, leider konnte eine Person krankheitsbedingt nicht mit reisen. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön, swhr sauber, zentral gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Straßenbahn fährt dort vorbei, hat aber nicht gestört. Auch die nahe Straße war nicht störend. Das Grundstück ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man seine Ruhe hat. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr schnell erreicht und auch der Strand mit Promenade ist sehr nah und auch nach einem kleinen Spaziergang zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Fantastica villa para compartir con amigos

Hemos venido 2 parejas de amigos franceses y 4 niños. Lo hemos pasado y disfrutado mucho. La villa es muy fiel a la descripción, con toda comodidad y tranquilidad. Permite a las familias de tener su intimidad estando juntos en la casa. La terraza y la piscina nos han gustado mucho. La ubicación cercana de un pequeño centro commercial, cerca del mar y del tranvía nos ha facilitado todo. Benjamin nos ha acogido muy bien con consejos, adaptándose a nuestra hora de llegada y vuelta por avión. Fue algunas vacaciones muy buenas!
