We spent seven amazing nights in this property located on the outskirts of Assisi. It was secure, peaceful and tranquil and the waterfall and mulino adjacent to the house were such interesting features. We used this property as a base to visit many of the amazing villages that are within one hours drive. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet location. Great restaurant nearby.

It was a serene home next to a beautiful waterfall. The house itself was built in 1800s. It was a relaxing location to enjoy the beauty of Italy

se un giorno decidi di lasciare fuori il quotidiano frenetico questo è il posto perfetto. una casa grande e accogliente e vera natura tutto intorno. puoi leggere, dormire, pensare, vivere con calma ogni minuto della giornata col rumore dell’acqua che scorre di fianco a te. si rinasce un po’. gli spazi sono ampi adatti anche ad un bel gruppo di persone, in cucina c’è tutto quello che serve, fuori c’è perfino un forno a legna per pizza o grigliate. menzione d’onore per laura, la proprietaria, persona davvero adorabile, presente, solerte è pronta a consigliare, aiutare o guidare nella scoperta delle zone circostanti.

Geheimtipp in Umbrien

Selten haben wir so freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber erlebt - hierfür ein großes Dankeschön an Laura und Andrea. Das Haus ist ruhig und wunderschön gelegen. Bei tollem Wetter genossen wir Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Ein besonderes Highlight des Hauses ist der eigene Pizzaofen.

Amazing Stay

A stunningly beautiful location hosted by warm, welcoming hosts. We couldn’t have asked for anything to be better. We stayed during a 2 month trip and it was the highlight of our travels. If you have the chance to experience the cooking demonstration and meal, do it! Some of the best food we’ve ever eaten and a magical evening for our group.

A pearl in the hills

The mill was a very pleasant experience with lots of space and the forest and the pond was a perfect retreat in the summer heat. Andrea was very helpfull before and during our stay. We loved it and its not the last time we've visited the old mill.

We were met in town by Laura and her Mum and shown immediately to the lovely Mulino which was everything we had hoped for. Andrea and Laura made us very welcome and we had a wonderful week

Peaceful remote setting but close enough.

Andrea was amazing to work with first via email before our trip and then via cell phone during - ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. He provided assistance with two things: 1) guided trout fishing and 2) an Italian cooking class and meal (his own mother!) for reasonable fees. Truly a quiet and serene setting yet close enough to Assisi.

Great place, quiet and beautiful.

We had a great stay in the Antico Mulino. We loved the peace and quiet, enjoyed swimming at the pond, exploring the woods, walking in the neighbourhood and used all the tips the kind owner gave us. We really had a fantastic holiday.

Beautiful setting

Spacious house with lovely terrace. House remained cool despite very hot days, and the excellent shutters kept the light out for sleep ins. The kids loved swimming in the pond and exploring the garden. Very helpful owners.

Prachtig huis in een prachtige locatie

We hebben heel hard genoten van onze week in L'Antico Mulino. Andrea was zeer behulpzaam met het installeren van een laadmogelijkheid voor elektrische wagens - niets is zo gemakkelijk dat je wagen staat op te laden terwijl je slaapt. Zeer mooie en rustige omgeving midden in de natuur.

Paradise in Italy

We were fortunate enough to stay in our own piece of Umbria's paradise in a National Park. A property rich with history, heritage and memories to be had. As a nature and travel photographer, I found endless beauty to capture. We only stayed for 3 nights as we traveled across Italy. When I return I will stay here for the entire vacation, plus a week in Sardinia;). We had a lot of places that we wanted to see within 45 min to an hour, but found ourselves not wanting to travel anywhere further than Assisi (appx. 6km away) during the day, then relax and explore around the estate morning and night. We will return soon. Thank you for such gracious hospitality... life changing. Wonderful hosts!

Idyllisch, tolle Lage außerhalb der Stadt - Erholung pur!

Wundervolles kleines alleinstehendes Häusschen an privater Straße mitten im Wald und trotzdem nah zu Assisi. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und das Haus ist sehr sauber. Toller eigener Pizzaofen!!
