Nice short stay in Paris

My mother and I stayed in this apartment for spectating the Paris Olympic. It is located in a prime location and convenient for everything. The apartment is very cute and comfortable. The communications with the owner was very smooth. We really enjoyed the short stay experience.

Amazing location

The location is second to none and Flavio was so helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One issue that others might want to consider is that there are many bars and restaurants nearby and it was rather noisy at night (it was hot so we had the windows open, might not be an issue at other times of year). If you're a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs - but it's the price you pay for being in the centre of a lovely part of Paris.

Jolie appartement au coeur de St Germain

Excellent in all aspects. Comfortable, well-equipped, spacious (for two), great shower, and nice atmosphere. Wonderful neighborhood. Restaurants and cafes are right there. Two minutes walk to metro Odeon, five minutes to the Seine. I highly recommend it.

Historical apartment

Interesting historic neighborhood. Many shops and cafés. Safe & quiet building. On the fourth floor. We were happy to take the stairs after eating all of the wonderful pastries. Favio is very communicative & prompt.

Great Stay near Odeon

A lovely pied a terre. Perfect location and all as advertised. Flavio is great to deal with. Big windows let the air in but when closed the lively street noise goes away. We like the extra exercise of 4 flights of stairs - but if you don't, you might want to give that some thought! Exactly what we'd hoped for.

Great location in apartment with character

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Paris. A great location within walking distance to d’Orsay, Louve, Notre Dame, etc. Flavio is a good host who provides a thorough overview of the property. I accidentally lost the apartment key while on a run one morning. And even though he was out of the city (I believe out of the country) he responded quickly to our call for help, connecting us to a friend who could give us a spare key. Due to several floors of spiral staircase, not the place for anyone who struggles with steps. But for the rest of us, it’s a great place to stay when in Paris.

Great location

It was almost perfect if it were not for the following : the kitchen needs attention (busted doors ), the couch was not comfortable for us (sagging), access to the bed a bit awkward (we don’t see the rational for those side ‘ shelves ‘, and the lack of a phone (land line) was not good for us. Also, the owner should provide 2 sets a bath towels for 2 week stays, since there’s no washing machine. Same with dish towels. The things above may seem trivial, but they go a long way to make a rental more enjoyable. The bathroom is large with a great shower, and sink. Prior to our arrival, Flavio was very accommodating and we communicated easily. He was punctual for our check in, and allowed for an easy check out. The location is perfect for us and we will consider this appartement again.

Nightmare host, Jack hammer construction site

BEEARE! Great location, quaint exposed beams and fireplace. Don’t be fooled! The property needs a deep clean and more than paint (I will attach photos if possible). Host will want to communicate off VRBO don’t do it. The apartment next to mine had concrete floors. Every weekday at 8AM the contractors would show up and start Jack hammering. I left halfway through my stay. Host said I should not be sleeping past 8AM anyway. VRBO said they can’t help unless safety issue. Very disappointed on the day I left, the contractor cleans the steps and left them wet. I slipped down 7 stairs. What a nightmare. Can’t add pics of construction or condition of apartment.

You were not very lucky arriving at the last day of the works in the building, which were not that noisy and l do not understand why you left 4 nights earlier than expected. It is a lovely and perfectly located!

You can find no better host than Flavio who is responsive and very helpful with questions at any time. The flat is located on a small side street off St. Germaine and there are restaurants from every corner of the world within steps. It is easy to walk to great locations like the Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, Musee d'Orsay and Notre Dame. I can't wait to go back!!

Lovely Apartment - Wonderful Location

From the very first beginning when we send an inquiry for the apartment, the owner Flavio was very attentive and friendly in his quick answer and confirmation of the apartment. The days before coming to Paris we had the best communication about the arrival with him, again with quick and friendly answers. Arriving was no problem, because Flavio was so kind, prior to the arrival, to inform us about how to get from the airport to Rue Grégoire de Tours. We were very well received by Flavio who introduced us to his beautiful and well equipped apartment with the best location in St-Germain-des-Prés, just a few minutes walk from the Métro Odéon and situated in a very charming, beautiful and quiet neighborhood, with some nice restaurants and cafés, not forgetting a lovely flowershop just opposite the apartment. From the very first sight we loved this nice, cosy and tasteful apartment! Flavio recommended us kindly some exquisite places to eat at in the neighborhood, we were very fond of Brasserie Vagenende and Restaurant Le Procope. We did really enjoy our stay in Flavio's apartment and will not hesitate to stay in his apartment when we return to Paris. Our best recommendations!

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in dieser Wohnung. Das Ambiente ist wunderbar pariserisch. Die perfekte Mischung aus klassisch und modern. Ganz wichtig: das Bad ist sehr sauber und schick. Die Wohnung bietet Stauraum in Schränken und Regalen. Es gibt ein Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und eine Couch zum Ausklappen im Wohnzimmer. Jeweils für zwei Personen. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Um die Ecke ist die Metrostation Odéon, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten einzukaufen oder auch auswärts essen und trinken zu gehen. Die Seine ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat eine ausführliche und gewissenhafte Führung durch die Wohnung gegeben und war über Handy stets erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung besten Gewissens empfehlen und würden immer wiederkommen.

My sister and I stayed at Flavio’s apartment for one week. The apartment is in a great neighborhood, lots of shops and stores around, walking distance to many historical places, short walk to metro station. If you are young at heart. . . .

A spacious and tastefully, albeit sparsely, furnished apartment with excellent shower and good closet and drawer space for storing clothing. The neighborhood is lively and within walking distance to everything. The drawbacks include a great deal of street noise well unto the night, very dim lighting in the living room, and three flights of stairs.
