We booked this house for a multiple generational family: grandfather, mother, and 2-year old toddler. From the photos we understood we were very close to the beach and that there was plenty of space for everyone. The location was indeed right in front of the beach, and the town offered everything we could need, a few blocks away. We appreciated how clean the house was and how the kitchen was equipped.We were disappointed by the furnishing of the mezzanine level. The way it was built was that it's not at all a closed-off room that offers privacy because everything is heard from the downstairs bedroom.The other problem was that the sound from the street was really very loud. The street is constantly busy because it is the beach access road.Another note about the noise was from the other side of the house. I was up with my toddler until 3am on the Saturday night because the bar/restaurant/club Centro's kitchen entrance is basically a few meters from the bedroom and there's no sound isolation in this house, whatsoever. I heard their ventilation from the fryer, the taking out of the bottles to the garbage, the party all night.The staircase is another problem, which I saw in the photos of course, but in person I felt like it was more dangerous.One last thing was that after 4 days we noticed a strong smell of mildew in the bathrooms. Some soap/shampoo in bathrooms would have been nice.It seems like a good place for people who don't mind hearing each other. But cute house.
