1920 4BR / 1BA chalet avec grande pelouse et quai. Idéal pour nager, pêcher et se détendre.
     2 lits doubles et 3 lits jumeaux. Des chaises de jardin et un gril à gaz sont à votre disposition. Il y a un puits de feu au bord du lac pour les incendies et les s'mores.
Il y a un super petit bar sur le lac et un bon restaurant et un bar à l'autre bout. Et divers magasins et restaurants à Cuba, Olean et Ellicotville.

The host was very responsive. My kids loved the kayaks and paddleboard. There is also a beautiful new deck that we had all of our meals on. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing time by the water.

We had a wonderful weekend at this cottage at Cuba Lake. The cottage itself is lovely, clean and well maintained with everything we needed. It has beautiful 1920s details, which made it even more charming. The neighbors were nice and the owner, as well. We met her when she stopped by one of the days we were there. Cuba Lake is gorgeous, and there are plenty of businesses available nearby for groceries, coffee, dining and other big box stores available in nearby Olean. We loved this booking and would recommend it to anyone.

Great Lakeside Cottage

A neat cottage with great waterfront access. Many little amenities that made the stay for me and my young family (plus my mom/dad) a memorable one. The owners were great to work with during the stay. We enjoyed every minute of our time on the lake!

This was our second time renting this quaint cottage and we had such a great time once again! It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors! We rented a pontoon boat for a few days and that was an absolute ball as well! Thanks again, Amy!

Fantastic cottage!

We loved Amy’s cottage! Everything was clean and well stocked. Large kitchen and cozy living room with lots of places to sit. Great backyard for volleyball net and yard games. We will be back next year!

Just what we needed....relaxation!

Thanks for letting us enjoy the house on the lake! We had a great time and the weather turned out even better than expected. We sat outside most of the time, enjoying the view, and got in a good amount of kayaking and fishing. <3

Week at the lake

The house is located perfectly in the lake. Great lawn area and lots of room to sleep. It is an older lake house but very clean and neat. Amy was super responsive and a pleasure to speak with. All questions and needs addressed immediately. We had a great time.

Great place to relax!!!

It was a very enjoyable stay at the lake. The owner, Amy, is a very comfortable person to rent from. Her cottage is definitely a grand reminder of my Grandmom's in years past. It took me back to a good place in my life. Every morning we woke up feeling refreshed and ready for another day at the lake! Life is good and this vacation was a grand reminder of that! PK and BC.

Perfect for family reunion

Owners are friendly and helpful. Feeling of house is retro-funk. If you want all the bells and whistles of modern day house, this won’t be the place for you. But if you want a look into Cuba Lake as it was back in the day, a huge yard to play and lounge in, a great swim spot, and a gorgeous setting, book now!

Short stay

Nice owners, great cottage, very accommodating, comfortable. Only problem was with me. I’m disabled and cottage was on a sloping hill. I pretty much stayed on side deck and left early.

Making Memories & New Family Traditions

I had always wanted to stay at a lake house during the summertime, at least once in my life. And when I came across this little 1920s gem, it met all my expectations. From all of the wood flooring to the claw bathtub is something that you just don’t see anymore. It was clean and spacious and met all of our needs. Which was focusing on a beautiful view looking out the window as I prepared a meal for my family. In the time spent there, we made lasting memories, like our pups & little grandson, running down the lawn to the dock to see his Daddy & Papa while they were fishing. It was that night as we sat around the dinner table that we decided to make this a new family tradition.

Very good location

The only thing that we would've loved to have (besides a boat) was a deck off from the kitchen. There is no patio/porch/deck and we had to bring our own gas grill. The one there was no good

Great family time

"We", myself, husband, sister and her husband booked the cottage for the week of Fathers Day. We had a small family picnic with our 80+ yr old parents and our siblings. This cottage was perfect. It was just like the cottage I spent my summers at when I was a child on a lake nearby. It is aged.. but I loved it. We were able to bring our 2 dogs, and the layout of the house was perfect to accommodate them. It was 90+ and HUMID, for the week so we did end up bringing a portable AC up from our folks and that made it comfortable. Bottled water is a must but that was no big deal. I loved the claw foot tub, it took me back.

The cottage you remembered from your childhood!

This was a last minute reservation due to my mistake in not reserving a hotel in time for parents weekend at St. Bonaventure. The owner was very accommodating. I loved the fact that everything wasn't modernized in this adorable cottage. Six panel doors, a claw foot tub, built in cabinets, wood floors, etc. It was spotless! It was truly the perfect weekend for my family. Watching the sunrise early in the morning while kayaking and watching the sun set over a glass of wine. Going to Moonwinks for dinner and having breakfast at The Perfect Blend. I will definitely return : ) Thank you so much!

Lake Life

We didn’t want to leave! The cabin is charming and well equipped, the location is the biggest attribute. Yes it was built in the 20’s and has a few quirks but our group loved it for those reasons. The lake was warm and very boat friendly which is where we spent most of our time. It was nice having the town of Cuba so close by for all our grocery needs and an occasional takeout meal. Next time I will better prepare for shade as there is very little in the afternoon sun.. a small pop up canopy would be the perfect solution. The owners are close by and very friendly and accommodating, we needed a few items and the brothers were quick to help out! Our age range was 6 months to 57 with a pack of 21 year olds that came for a night.. It was perfect

Uncomfortable old charm

Very disappointed in the overall look and function of the cottage for the price that we paid for the week. The furniture is out dated and uncomfortable. The closets were unusable due to cobwebs and dust. There is no real storage in the kitchen, and you must be very careful walking down the outside steps as they are treacherous. The cottage should be properly updated, but you could still keep the 1920's charm. To get to the cottage from the road, there needs to be some stairs, the wooden retaining wall is falling apart. One of our guest slipped down the whole wall. The dock needs work. The one positive about the cottage is the yard is large and the view is beautiful.

At 90 years, our cottage is old and flawed; much like its owners. We all still love our time at Cuba lake each summer and we do our best to update something each year. The retaining wall for the parking area is not stairs and should not be used as such. Right next to the retaining wall is a slope to walk down to get to the cottage and the kitchen door. It is wide enough for a vehicle to go down if needed to unload food and beverages.

Summer Cottage

We loved lake life

House was very hot brought fans from home and not able to plug them in because no electrical outlets. At night house was very cold only one space heater available for the entire cottage and fireplace did not work because it kept tripping every two minutes too many things on that electrical outlet. Water stunk terrible went downtown and purchased deodorizers so that cottage would not smell like the sulfur water. Showered at home every day and not able to shower because of the smell was so bad. Went home every other day to get water jugs filled for cooking and cleaning. Just not a great experience for what we paid. Spent more time away from the cottage than at the cottage.

We are very sorry you were disappointed with the cottage. We immediately called our plumber who has chlorinated the well again. We had the water tested and it is safe for drinking, cooking and showering. It is well water because there is no city water available at Cuba Lake. We went to stay the week after this guest. We took the screens out and closed the windows, then turned on the electric fireplace and the space heater to test them both. Neither one tripped or shut off in the 3 hours we ran them. We never had reason to use the heat the remainder of the week. We have fans for each room. As far as electrical outlets, there are 4 in the living room, 3 in the kitchen (including a new GFI near the sink), 2 in the dining room, 4 in the laundry room, 1 GFI in the bathroom and 1 in each bedroom except the small pass-through bedroom. For that room, we have an extension cord from the next room for a fan and to charge a cell phone. One of the owners was at the cottage next door and we provided a cell number and email and we never received a call, text or email that there were any issues. Once again, we are sorry to hear you were not happy.

A week at Cuba Lake

Amy was an excellent communicator and our stay at her cottage on Cuba Lake was very enjoyable! We were able to tie down a boat at her dock and there were 5 comfortable beds for sleeping.
