Velvet Pear Cottage

IdĂ©alement situĂ© sur 5 hectares de beaux jardins au cƓur de Tilba Tilba, Ă  quelques minutes en voiture de la plage et au pied du mont Dromedary, un arriĂšre-plan dramatique contre les collines de Tilba menant au magnifique littoral.

Faites-vous dorloter avec un dĂ©licieux petit-dĂ©jeuner composĂ© d'Ɠufs en libertĂ©, de bacon salĂ© local, de tomates maison, de champignons et d'un dĂ©licieux pain d'honneur local.
Servi dans votre chambre, votre cour privée ou dans le magnifique jardin.

Promenez-vous tranquillement dans le jardin ouvert et vers l’étang, ou prenez un dĂ©jeuner dĂ©contractĂ© dans la maison de Willow avec Bar B Q. Nous comprenons que vous pourriez ne pas ĂȘtre en mesure de vous dĂ©connecter complĂštement du monde, alors le wifi est fourni.

Loved our stay

Loved our stay. Property is in the most wonderful surrounds with a short walk to a lovely Cafe and 5 min drive to Central Tilba which is a quaint little town with lots of shopping to be had. The breakfast is a must with host Lyn delivering to the back patio to enjoy while admiring the beautiful views.

Beautiful room and gardens

One of the best pet friendly places we've ever stayed at. The garden is beautiful and the pet friendly section is both secure and spacious. Lyn and Robert were great hosts. We are definitely planning to stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Spacious and beautifully furnished French provincial style - it was a pleasure to stay here with beautiful garden surrounds - peaceful and tranquil. Just go and spoil yourself and stay at least 3 nights. So much to see and do - Tilba, Narooma and Bermagui a short distance away - we had a great time here - highly recommend it.

Lovely garden retreat

We absolutely loved the location of this small cottage nestled in Foxglove Gardens. There are so many spots around the garden to sit and relax in, including on the back porch overlooking a brook. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable, and had a great shower. We were grateful for the easy space to have our small dog along, too. The location is great- short drive into Tilba for local food and shops, beaches, hikes/walks, a winery/brewery down the road, etc. But you could easily just stay at the cottage and gardens for a couple of days relaxing.

Charming spot!

A well-appointed, stylish little room with a gorgeous view of the gardens. We had a relaxing, very enjoyable stay and highly recommend Lyn's delicious breakfasts! This spot is just a few minutes away from the glorious Tilba with its fabulous cheeses and unique stores. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Akin to staying in a very nice hotel, only with an unbeatable garden setting.

Very elegant little cottage.

Quaint and elegant cottage. Gardens were nice but being winter there looked like there was a lot of cleaning up to do. Shame that the functions building was run down and neglected (closed). I imagine it would be a lovely area over looking the pond, once it is renovated. Loved the ruins in the pond. My favourite spot. It was our first time to Tilba Tilba and the locate area of Tilba Central was a pleasant surprise. Lovely little locate pub with live music on Sunday lunch. The place to be. The little specialty boutique shops were gorgeous too. (Spent way too much money, I couldn't help myself)....I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Perfect stay

Beautifully appointed cottage in lovely, serene surrounds. Lyn was a generous host - seeing us sitting outside one evening ahe brought a platter of cheese for us. (No extra cost since you ask).. We couldn't have asked for more. Also - for those who complain of no TV reception, there is a smart TV and strong wi-fi so you have Netflix and YouTube via TV and if, as we did, you want the news, you can get that on your laptop. We will definitely be back!!

We were looking for a quiet place in a beautiful rural setting where we could bring our dog with us and just completely relax - Foxglove certainly delivered. We spent four nights there and Lyn was so welcoming to us and our four legged traveling companion. The gardens are beautiful and the local French Cafe was fantastic - we ate there every day. Highly recommend it for people who want to get away from it all, but be able to do it in style.
