Le studio situĂ© au niveau infĂ©rieur d’une belle maison en bois rond offre une intimitĂ© dans un cadre paisible. Les logements (tous neufs / propres) comprennent un lit queen-size, un coin repas, une connexion Wi-Fi, une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat (50 pouces), une cuisine avec tous les appareils nĂ©cessaires, une batterie de cuisine / vaisselle et une salle de bain avec draps et serviettes fournis. Il y a un parking pour deux vĂ©hicules et l'accĂšs se fait par une entrĂ©e privĂ©e couverte, maintenue 24h / 24 et 7j / 7.

Situé sur 3,3 hectares de bois, il se trouve à proximité du carrefour des routes VT 9 et 100, à mi-chemin entre Bennington et Brattleboro. Il est à quelques minutes de Mount Snow et de Haystack Mountain, et à 5 minutes du centre de Wilmington pour des restaurants raffinés et des boutiques.

Venez profiter de tout ce que la petite ville pittoresque de Wilmington a Ă  offrir en tant que destination quatre saisons. Au printemps et en Ă©tĂ©, vous aurez accĂšs Ă  une multitude de sports nautiques (canot, kayak, natation, etc.) sur nos fabuleux lacs Ă  proximitĂ©, ainsi que du vĂ©lo, du golf, de la randonnĂ©e ou des sites historiques. Le lac Whitingham (rĂ©servoir Harriman) est Ă  proximitĂ© et de nombreuses riviĂšres parsĂšment le paysage pour la pĂȘche. À l'automne, admirez le feuillage Ă  couper le souffle et, en hiver, faites du ski ou de la planche Ă  neige, de la motoneige, de la raquette ou du ski de fond sur les pistes entretenues du centre de ski de fond.

La ville de Wilmington offre d'excellents restaurants, bars, cafés et magasins pour le week-end. En été, il y a des marchés aux puces populaires et des festivals dans toute la région.

Quiet 1 Bedroom Apartment

Susan was a great host and the place looked brand new and was spotless and beautiful! The apartment was around the back of the main house and was quiet and private. The bed looked out the back window to a sunny and snowy woods that was beautiful to wake up too. The drive to Mount Snow was quick (less then 10 minutes) and easy in the morning. This was a perfect spot for my wife and I to get away for a few nights to snowboard. We will certainly book again here with Susan! Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy and comfortable stay for our family

This was a repeat visit for our family. New this year is the addition of a separate bedroom (with a queen bed) with a sleeper sofa in the living room. This was perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen is well equipped, which is important for us as we like to cook at home. We plan on returning soon!

Early Fall Getaway

The apartment is pristine and welcoming. Extremely clean with a well equipped kitchen. There was coffee and tea with all the fixings available, even fresh milk in the fridge. The wide selections of tea was nice to see as us tea drinkers are often overlooked. We came to visit with long time friends who live in Wilmington and had the best time.

Everything was perfect.

Very pleased with this stay. The cabin is of exceptional quality, the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked as well. Owner is very communicative and location is serene. Perfect spot for a couple / small family to enjoy the green mountains! I will likely be back again.

We had a great stay here! The location was perfect as there is hiking, biking and golfing close by. The log cabin and grounds were beautiful. Susan was a gracious host and met all of our needs. The cabin was spotless and well maintained. Ample PPA was provided and social distance rules were followed. Despite the pandemic we were able to fully enjoy our vacation and truly get “away”. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect for a long ski weekend

10 minutes from Mt Snow, this quiet mountain studio was all I needed for a long ski weekend. The kitchen and shower were fantastic.

The Perfect Skiing Getaway

This is an amazing place to escape to. It's newly renovated so everything is spotless and very comfortable. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there is a very handy kitchenette for making meals. Sue definitely made me feel comfortable here and I would definitely stay here again. It's about 15 mins from Mt. Snow and about 35 mins from Stratton.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Great place for couples.It was very quiet and peaceful and very clean. Even though you feel in the woods, actually your not far from town. Hello, I'd like to introduce myself - my name is Susan Luchsinger. I am originally from Connecticut. I am an avid skier and grew up skiing southern Vermont. I moved to Wilmington in June of 2015 via Tokyo for a year, Chicago for six years and lastly 16 years in "bush" (off road system) Alaska where I worked for the Alaska State Troopers (maybe you've seen the show.) I currently dispatch for the Wilmington Police Department. So glad to be back east in my old stomping grounds!

My two dogs, Bill and Clara are my babies. They traveled back east with me from Alaska. They are both rescues (I was actually co-founder of one of the first rescue organizations in "bush" Alaska.) They will alert me of unwanted animals in the yard, so I hope you don't mind a bark or two.

Besides skiing, I love to cook. I may be persuaded into cooking a meal or two if interested, and if my schedule allows - just ask.

I remember back in the day when I found it difficult at times to secure lodging during my weekend skiing trips to Vermont, so thought "why not share some of my space." This rental is approximately 8 mins to Haystack and 13 mins to Mt. Snow, and about a 40 min drive to Stratton. I hope you find it comfortable.
