Happy 40th anniversary! 🎉 We’re so glad you chose to spend such a special occasion with us and that the condo was a perfect fit. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the board games, the cross breeze from the balconies, and that everything was comfortable and well-supplied. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Thanks, Lacy! We want our guests to enjoy thier stay up until the last minute, so we like to offer no hassle at check-out. Glad to hear it's appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We’re glad the condo had everything you needed and that the Axtell location was a great fit for your stay. We appreciate the note about the screen door and extra blankets—both easy fixes that we’ll take care of right away. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Phillip. We apologize, the last-minute nature of your trip through our automation for a loop. We've trained our staff to keep an eye out for glitches like this but thank you for calling so that we could get you the check-in instructions before your arrival. We try to include as much information as possible in our property descriptions, including that there is not an elevator. Elevators are extremely rare in Crested Butte, but luckily this condo is on the front side and only up one flight of stairs. You’re right at the base of the resort, so access is unparalleled to a majority of properties. And of course, we want to provide you with all the easy amenities of a home, so if anything ever looks out of sorts or missing, please call us. We’re here to help and provide an enjoyable stay!

Thank you, Craig! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Axtell! There are some stairs to get to the unit, but the ski-in/ski-out location cannot be beaten. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly install window coverings for our guests' privacy. We hope to host you again!

Thanks for the 5-star review, Laura! We're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and our services. We'll be sure to share your kudos with our team. Thanks again and we hope to see you again!

Thanks so much for your 5-star review, Cana! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed everything about your stay. We appreciate you letting us host for your anniversary and we would welcome you back anytime!

Thank you, Martha! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Axtell. Unfortunately, there is not an elevator at this property nor are they very common in CB so please keep this in mind when booking. The location of this condo at the Resort Base Area cannot be beaten! We appreciate your comments for our future bookers!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Holden! We're happy to hear you enjoyed your overall stay!

Thank you for your wonderful review, Kim! We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, the fireplace, and the well-stocked kitchen. It’s great to hear that the bathtub jets were a hit! We appreciate you mentioning the mattress issue, and we’ll certainly look into it for future guests. We’d love to host you again and are thrilled that you’d recommend us!

Thank you, Amanda! We apologize for the rare construction during our shoulder season, but we are happy to hear that you otherwise enjoyed your stay. We would love to host you and your husband again!

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re glad you found the condo clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, and that the location worked well for summer activities on the mountain. We’re sorry the noise from above impacted your stay—being in the Axtell building can sometimes come with that challenge. We appreciate you letting us know, and we’ll keep your comments in mind as we continue working to improve the guest experience.

Thanks, Terry! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed everything about the condo. The building is working on upgrading windows and sliding doors, so stay tuned for that! We appreciate your sharing your experience and hope you'll visit again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the condo itself. The cleanliness, well-stocked kitchen, and lift-side location are exactly what we aim to deliver. We do want to address the arrival experience, as this is not the typical vibe or level of service we strive to provide. We take feedback like this seriously and have completed a full internal review of the communication surrounding your stay. As a reminder, standard check-in is 4:00 PM. When you reached out shortly after 2:00 PM about arriving early (without advance notice), our team was actively managing a busy turnover day. While early check-in can’t be guaranteed, we were ultimately able to provide access at 3:00 PM, one hour early, once the home was fully cleaned and inspected. During peak days, our team works hard behind the scenes and provides updates as soon as they’re confirmed and sometimes the simplest answer really is that the home won’t be ready until the scheduled check-in time. Our goal is always to equip guests with clear information, thoughtful preparation, and support throughout their stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and the opportunity to reinforce expectations while continuing to improve.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Kathy! We are pleased to hear that you loved the location of the condo. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to let you and our future bookers know that the wasteful toilet has been replaced. Thank you, again!

Thanks so much for the 10/10 review! We're so glad you enjoyed the location, the comfort of the condo, and those fantastic views. We'd love to host you again the next time you're in Crested Butte!

Thank you, Kristin! Your review is very helpful for our future visitors. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Crested Butte. We would love to host you all again!

Thanks so much, Ken! We are happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed the condo and were comfortable. The location can't be beat, down 1 flight of stairs and you're ready to ski or bike with lift access. We would love to host your family again!

We appreciate your feedback, Bart. Being a true ski-in/ski-out property, winter access does require you to walk through the snow. There are some tips and tricks that our friendly staff will happily share with you to make unloading a bit easier. We are otherwise happy to hear that you enjoyed your accommodations!

Thank you, Carla! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at the Axtell Condominiums. We are sorry to hear that you had some difficulty finding the condo after-hours. We do provide a welcome letter and map with highlighted instructions in your late arrival packet. For some, a verbal description of how to get there may be easier to understand. We are open 7 days a week and are happy to provide these steps over the phone as well. There is ski storage provided for the entire building in a northeast closet, closest to the ski slopes. It is first come first serve, locked, but accessible to all that stay at Axtell. There are other private ski storage options available, just call to ask. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you will visit Crested Butte again!
