Band Aids and Hairballs and Bears, oh my.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was remote, as wanted and expected...and lent to seeing big furry friends pretty much every morning. All of which we were seeking. However, directions actually getting to the cabin were not so accurate. Which was fine...we figured it out. Were slightly delayed getting in because the cleaning crew was also delayed...came in to wet floors, dirty mirrors, toe nails on the kitchen floor, noodles on the counters and hairballs in the shower. (Didn’t see that until they wrapped around my foot)...we stripped the sheets and bought our own because they had hair and footprints on them; but, when we said the towels were not clean and asked for new ones, and were directed to the washing machine...we felt a little slighted. I wouldn’t put this on the hosts as much as the cleaning/maintenance company. If advertising a theater room, user friendly components are helpful. The 4 remotes attached to lanyards and mathematical equations to use the set up made us just watch TV in the master bed at night. The cabin overall was amazing though. Super cool layout and honestly very welcoming aside from the lack of cleaning company attention. Watching the rainstorms across the mountains was epic. Would totally love to recommend but only with the guarantee of a truly professional cleaning not one done by the current service.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Our stay was perfect! The cabin had gorgeous views. It was only 20-25 minutes from everything we wanted to do, which allowed us the best of both worlds. We ended up spending more time at the cabin than expected because of how perfect the porch was for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Another Great Cabin at Elk Springs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 5th year we've rented from Elk Springs and our 3rd time staying in this cabin. It's absolutely gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. This has become my husband's birthday getaway spot. It's secluded, quite, and relaxing. There is so much to do in town as well. We love staying here.

Very secluded and great views.

Cabin was easy to get to and just enough out of town for some piece and quit. Cabin was clean, secluded with great views of the mountains, we will definitely use Elk Springs once again.

Overall a pleasant stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, great views, secluded location, clean, and beds were comfortable enough with home theater and game room. On the negative side, the coffee pot didn’t work properly, hot tub jets didn’t work on one side, grill is pretty nasty, only one steak knife in the cabin, and the shower heads need to be replaced or repaired since the water didn’t spray like they should. But all of these could easily be corrected.

I love the area and we did even get to see a bear at the cabin! Nothing beats the views you get here as well!
