25-Acre Mountain Retreat w/ Trails, Pond, Hot Tub

Thanks for staying with us! That sense of seclusion is actually one of the things we love most about Peaceful Getaway. The cabin sits on our private 26-acre mountain property, so you really do feel like you’ve escaped into the mountains, surrounded by woods, trails, and nature. But you’re definitely not far from everything. It’s only about 6 minutes to the nearest market, where you can grab groceries, pizza, or even a drink at the pub, about 10 minutes to a full-size grocery store, and roughly 15 minutes from some of the world-class hiking, waterfalls, and outdoor adventures that make this area so special. For us, that’s always been the magic of the property: your own peaceful, private mountain retreat, while still being just minutes from pretty much anything you could need.

Peaceful Getaway sits high on a mountain ridge, where the winding drive and final gravel road are part of what creates the quiet serenity, and feeling of having your own private sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While it feels removed from everyday life, many guests are surprised to find they're only about 5 minutes from pizza, beer, and everyday essentials, about 10 minutes from groceries, restaurants, and breweries, and roughly 15-20 minutes from the shops of downtown Brevard, DuPont State Forest, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. We appreciate your comments and will update our listing to better describe the mountain setting so future guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive.
