Le Sand Castle at Thunder Cove est un chalet impeccable de construction récente situé à Darnley sur la magnifique rive nord. Le chalet spacieux et moderne est l'endroit idéal pour divertir votre famille ou vos amis pendant vos vacances à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Le chalet peut accueillir 6 personnes confortablement dans les 3 chambres spacieuses. Pas besoin de vous soucier d'apporter des ustensiles, la cuisine entièrement équipée vous protège. Le salon a des fenêtres lumineuses pour profiter d'une vue à couper le souffle. Vous trouverez également 2 salles de bain au sein du chalet.
À une courte distance de marche se trouve Thunder Cove Beach qui ne ressemble à aucune autre. Les falaises de grès, les grottes en constante évolution et les piles de mer uniques vous feront explorer toute la journée, quel que soit votre âge. Admirez les couchers de soleil en barbe à papa qui tombent sur l'océan sur le pont une fois que vous revenez de votre journée à la plage. À seulement 12 minutes se trouve la baie de Mapleque, célèbre pour ses incroyables huîtres. Le parc provincial de Cabot Beach est situé à seulement 14 minutes où les activités peuvent être appréciées par toute la famille. À environ 3 minutes se trouve Darnley Greens ou Anderson’s Creek à environ 25 minutes, si vous êtes amateur de golf. A little piece of heaven

This is a wonderful place to vacation .The views are amazing ,the beach is incredible/ we loved our long walks on the beach. The cottage is so well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. We hope we have the privilege to return one day . Thank you !

Priceless View

We spent so much time on the deck which had an amazing view of the water and is in the shade for most of the day. Swam everyday and took photos of the sunset at night. Loved this place.

The Perfect Holiday

My family and I stayed at The Sandcastle for 2 weeks and couldn't have had a better time. The place was just perfect for us - a lovely view of the ocean, only a minute to the sandy beach, comfortable rooms and living accommodations and a fabulous kitchen which we used often to enjoy the local seafood! Special touches include the ocean-view soaker tub, comfortable beach chairs and coastal decor touches. We can't wait to return!

You Need NO TV for this scenery

We could have spent our entire day on the beach or simply looking out over the ocean from the deck. Listening to and looking at the ocean all day way much preferable to electronics. A peaceful, beautiful location, offering quick access to Ch’town or the North Coast. We will plan another stay!

Beautiful summer spot at the beach

This was such an incredible spot to spend 2 weeks with family. Beautiful view, incredibly clean and well equipped house, right next to the path down to the beach. Absolutely wonderful! The only thing I would flag is that it can get hot in the house even with the lovely ocean breeze, so anyone that is sensitive to heat may find it uncomfortable (eg babies, folks with health issues, etc.). But again, just an amazing experience overall!

Awesome cottage Awesome location.Perfect. Ocean is front and center. Cottage is beautiful. Open concept. Ocean view from open living,kitchen,dining plus 2 of the bedrooms. The Hosts are great. Thunder Cove Zen

This was our second year in Sand Castle and it met all our expectations! Open concept and spacious deck and a well appointed kitchen. Loved the Adirondack chairs to spend our time looking over the ocean and watching the birds, bunnies, chipmunks, dragonflies! Simply a quick walk to the bluff stairs to the beach. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, golfing and biking! Enjoyed many lunches out exploring Summerside, Rustico, Brackley and Charlottetown. Delicious oysters, mussels and lobster a plenty. As well as picture perfect field and waterfront scenes. Especially the bright yellow Canola plant which was growing in abundance. Last night we had a perfect Rainbow!

Lovely house in a kick ass location

The house is beautifully situated on the ocean with easy access to the beach. We loved the floor plan and the location in a quiet part of PEI. The layout of the house is great including the easy access to the deck. The furniture is first rate. The beds are comfortable if a bit small. For such a luxury property, we do have a few suggestions. The kitchen needs more Serving spoons, kitchen towels, steak knives, more mixing bowls, and a sheet pan. The grill was filthy. We had to clean it to use it. There was no wire brush for cleaning. The third bedroom could use a small chest of drawers so there is enough space to unpack. One of the windows in that bathroom needs repair. But these are minor suggestions to make your magical property even better.

Peaceful Serenity

We enjoyed our week stay in PEI at this large well appointed home on the cliffs of Thunder Cove. Arrived to a clean and organized home. Including everything you would need for the beach and meal prep. It was very hot and humid so the ceiling fans and extra fan were helpful. Newly built steps to beach access very nice. Beds and bedding were comfy. Beautiful mornings on the deck and evening sunsets spectacular. It is a large island and all towns you have to drive to We explored with our Bronco most of the island. GPS did keep putting us on unpaved roads so be cautious because you can get everywhere on the main paved roads. Biked on Confederation Trail in North Rustico along the shoreline and Kensington inland. Golfed and dined out several times. Recommend Richard’s in Victoria just after crossing the bridge into PEI absolutely the best Lobster Roll!! Many wonderful spots in small fishing marinas to explore and dine. Recommend the Dunes Studio Gallery where we had lunch and walked the lovely gardens and viewed wonderful local artist works. Thanks for the memories!

PEI Paradise

We recently spent a week in PEI and this property made our vacation special. Everything we could possibly need was included and was of a high standard. This is one case where the actual location was better than the photos. Also, any questions we had were promptly dealt with by the property manager.

Beautiful location

This is a very nice cottage located a stones throw from the ocean. It was clean and modern. The only drawback that I found was the furniture in the living area was not all that comfortable. The chairs are on the small side for an adult male. Other than that all was very good.

Excellent home, clean, fully equipped , great view. Access to the beach was very challenging, this would prevent us from returning, basically a path, with some rocks, very steep, and dangerous. We talked to a few owners in the area, who identified this as a concern, they got what we were saying

Sand castle beautiful setting

Beautiful location, beautiful accommodations. New, clean, comfy beds, ample cooking supplies, spices and and utensils. Friendly quick staff. We had no propane and they were right out to swap the tank. Hard to criticize such a nice spot. The only thing I would change is cutting more grass to have a little more room to play some yard games, it would make the property look better as well. That Boeing said, it is a very minor detail as you mainly rent this for beach time and beautiful vistas. Rent with confidence.

Great with 100m to beach access. Views were spectacular. Every morning foxes and rabbits would wander past our front door. Very clean.
